How to Make a Reservation

Personalized Service Fee
Based on individual needs and preferences, a personalized service plan is developed for each resident at Yankee Hill Village. Depending on the number and frequency of services, a resident may have a service level fee in addition to the basic fee. Prior to a move to Yankee Hill Village, and on a regular basis, our staff works with residents, families, and physicians to ensure that your personalized service plan is tailored to your specific needs.

Overview of Staff and Training
Our team includes a variety of skilled professionals dedicated to providing excellent care and service. The Executive Director is licensed by the State of Nebraska, ensuring top-level management of our facility. An Executive Assistant with over 5 years of experience in service-related positions supports operations. Our Environmental Services & Maintenance department is headed by Pat, who has 16 years of on-the-job experience and consistently achieves a 100% audit score in his department.
Our Nursing staff includes Katie, an Assisted Living Supervisor Nurse with 19 years at our community, and Kori, the Lead LPN also with 19 years. Both nurses regularly complete Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to maintain their licenses. The Culinary Team consists of culinary-trained professionals like Chef Leo with 6 years of experience. Many on the Dining Services team have substantial experience in hospitality.
Dustin, our Wellness Specialist, is a certified health coach with a degree, ensuring residents receive top-notch health guidance. With 30 years of experience in LTC and Senior Living, I oversee these operations. We utilize Relias educational training for all staff and have a nationally certified dementia trainer from Immanuel for dementia education. Immanuel also provides ongoing coaching and education resources.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Our community follows strict policies and procedures, particularly in the licensed areas of Assisted and Memory Care, to ensure residents' safety and well-being. We maintain a secured community where access is controlled. Recognition of our high-standard service and care includes winning Bronze and Silver awards, with aspirations for the Gold award.
Transition Support for Residents
We offer comprehensive support for residents transitioning into our community. Our whole team participates in the process, and we can facilitate outside services if necessary.
Transportation Services
We provide transportation services for our residents, including a van and a bus equipped with a wheelchair lift.
Dining Experience
Our dining service is exceptional, providing each meal with a variety of menu options if residents prefer alternatives. Nutritional information is included on all menus. The dining experience is akin to a restaurant, with residents seated by a host and served at their tables by staff.
Handling Resident Complaints and Issues
Residents can voice complaints or issues through our Comment/Concern, Observation, or Incident Report system, which are then addressed by the Executive Director and relevant department.
Cost of Living

Communication with Families
We maintain communication with residents' families through a one-call system, which includes text, email, and connected living app. Memory Support is additionally monitored using Life Loop.
Short-term or Respite Stays
While we currently do not offer respite stays due to high occupancy, we remain committed to accommodating the needs of our residents.
Pet-friendly Community
We are a pet-friendly community with an established pet policy, details of which can be shared separately.
Waitlist Status
We currently have a waitlist for Independent Living. Assisted Living has one open apartment, and Memory Support is full.
Vaccination Clinics
Residents have access to Covid and flu vaccinations within the community, with clinics scheduled for October.
Aging in Place
Residents are generally able to age in place within our community, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Support. For those requiring a higher level of care, long-term care options are available at our sister community, The Landing.
