Types of Professionals on Staff and Training
Our facility is not a medical building and does not require a nurse or CNAs on staff. All staff members undergo on-site training and are required to complete yearly training. We have a Wellness Director who is trained by a nurse.Safety and Well-being Measures
Our community provides safety measures with staff available 24/7, and we lock our front doors at dark. All other community doors are locked from the outside. As we are an independent and assisted living, we are a non-secured community and have never experienced any issues.Resources and Support for Transition
We aid residents' transition into the community through support from our staff, families, and Resident Ambassador. New residents are encouraged to join in social activities to help acclimate into the community.Transportation Services
We offer transportation services to residents from Monday through Thursday.Dining Experience
Our dining room features a restaurant-style setup where servers and Resident Aides take orders and serve food.Handling Complaints or Issues
For complaints or issues, residents are advised to speak with me for resolution. For clinical issues, residents should speak with the Wellness Director.Communication with Residents' Families
Our communication policy with families involves my Wellness Director and myself reaching out via email, in-person care conferences, or phone calls. Weekly emails update families on community events, and families are encouraged to contact us with any concerns.Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer respite or short-term stays at the same price as our monthly rates, requiring a minimum stay of 30 days. Availability depends on our census, and currently, when full, we do not accept respites.Pet-friendly Policy
Our community is pet-friendly for residents capable of caring for their pets. Dogs must weigh under 40lbs and be friendly.Waitlist Considerations
We have a waitlist for larger rooms, but a few studio rooms are available. Residents in the community moving into a studio are given priority on the waitlist.Vaccination Availability
Residents can receive Covid and flu vaccinations provided by our pharmacy within the community.Aging in Place
