Staff and Certification

We have an RN on staff. PSS’s assist residents with Activities of Daily Living; they take a state-certified course. We also employ CRMA’s (Certified Residential Medication Administration) who must take a medication administration course and recertify every 2 years.

Memory Care

If the Resident is in Memory Care, it is a secure community. We also have 24-hour staffing to ensure residents' safety. We provide transportation to doctor appointments within a 20-mile radius.

Dining

Residents go to the dining room for meals.

Respite Care

We do not offer respite care because most of our communities are full, and we do not have the availability to offer respite.

Pet Policy

Assisted Living and Memory Care have a no-pet policy. Independent living apartments allow pets on a case-by-case basis.

Vaccinations

Vaccines are offered when we have clinics.

Aging in Place

Woodlands believes in aging in place. We try to keep residents with us and can make arrangements with a Home Health and Hospice affiliate partner. However, sometimes needs cannot be met, and a higher level of care may be necessary, but that is not the norm.

Waitlist and Availability

I have answered most of your questions to the best of my ability. For some questions, it would be best to consult the administrator of the specific community. Currently, I have a waitlist for Assisted Living in Waterville. For Mainecare, we have one private pay bed available. Memory Care is currently full. We typically do not have a long waitlist, and we need a completed application packet to add someone to the waitlist.
