Types of Professionals and Training
Our staff includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) on each floor, accompanied by a unit manager and a unit coordinator. Every team member undergoes dementia training and participates in our education fair, which covers topics such as infection control, COVID-19 protocols, compliance and ethics, oxygen safety, active shooter procedures, and fire safety.Safety and Well-being Measures
We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents by providing 24-hour staffing of nurses and CNAs. Additionally, we have a large activity/dining room managed by our activity team members.Support for Transition into the Community
To aid residents' transition into the community, our social service director, Esther, and I meet with each resident upon admission.Transportation Services
We offer transportation services with our own van and driver available Monday to Friday for local doctor appointments. We also have a contract with a chair car service and Armstrong ambulance for situations when our van is unavailable.Dining Experience
Dining services include meals served in a large dining room. Residents also have the option to eat in their rooms. We plan to launch our point of service with steam tables in the upcoming weeks.Complaint or Issue Resolution Process
If a resident has a complaint or issue, they can inform a staff member who will document the grievance and report it to the administrator for follow-up.Cost of Living
The cost of living varies according to room type: private rooms are priced at $538.60 per day, while semi-private rooms cost $516.60 per day.Communication with Residents' Families
We conduct an initial family meeting within the first week after admission, followed by quarterly care plan meetings to keep families updated on their loved ones' well-being.Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays for a maximum of 2 weeks, charging $366.60 per day.Pet Policy
