Winslow Gardens rental fees are subject to change. The rental fee structure at this printing is as follows:

• Efficiency apartment - $842.00 per month
• Efficiency with alcove sleeping area (suitable for couples) - $1111.00 per month
• One bedroom apartment (suitable for couples) - $1287.00 per month

Medication Administration

Medications will be centrally stored and dispensed per doctors’ orders, by our certified medication technicians. All orders are verified, and all medications can be delivered to us.

Nursing Service

May include 30-day assessment by Registered Nurse;

• Communication of monthly vital statistics to physician;
• Implementation plan for physician’s orders;
• Assistance with scheduling and coordinating medical care;
• Order, storage, dispensation, and verification of medications;
• Health care education;
• Coordination with in-house care providers such as home health care agencies;
• 24-hour coverage by Resident Assistant.

Daily testing and documentation to physician as needed.

*Please Note: You must meet the requirements of an Assisted Living resident who meets our F1 fire code licensure and does not require nursing or medical care as provided in a health care facility. All residents who qualify may be assessed for the Medicaid Program.

Our Team

Our Assisted Living direct staff for the residents consists of a Registered nurse and certified med techs. They are licensed with the state and the med techs attend 12 in services a year to maintain their license. They are also CPR certified.

Resident Safety

All residents have emergency pull cords in their apartments and staff does wellness checks throughout the day and night to ensure the residents are safe. We assist and support our new and current residents any way we can.

Transportation

Transportation to and from medical appointments is provided by MTM, a state medical non-emergency transportation company. Winslow Gardens does offer transportation to grocery stores weekly and outdoor scheduled activities.

Dining

Winslow dining room is for Assisted and Independent living residents. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are provided daily. We also offer alternatives to the main meal if residents prefer.

Grievance Procedure

If a resident has a complaint, we have a Grievance Procedure. We provide them with a Grievance form and, if needed, help fill it out. It is then given to the Administrator who shall address the grievance promptly.

Family Communication

Communication with families is constant. However, most contact would be if there is a significant change in health status.

Short-Term Stays

At this time we do not offer short-term stays or respite.

Pet-Friendly

We are a pet-friendly community; however, we do ask that families help out if their loved one needs a hospital stay or nursing home stay.

Vaccinations

Residents are able to get their Covid and Flu vaccinations here as we hold a clinic every year for this.

Aging in Place

Many of our Assisted living residents have started out in Independent living and transition to the Assisted living floor. Yes, residents can age in place. If a higher level of care is needed, we help them find the best long-term care facility for their loved one. We also now offer Assisted living memory care at the Loft at Linn, which is in the same building as Winslow.

Wait List

We do have a wait list, however, it can move quickly. Sometimes I go down the list and the first 20 are not ready, so it does go pretty quick sometimes.

We are a 114 apartment community designed for individuals aged 62 years and older.

Assisted Living Apartments

Our community includes 74 assisted living apartments, providing residents with the support they need for daily living activities while maintaining as much independence as possible.

Independent Living Apartments

We also offer 40 independent living apartments, ideal for seniors who are capable of managing their daily lives without assistance.
