Our Team

Our Assisted Living direct staff for the residents consists of a Registered nurse and certified med techs. They are licensed with the state and the med techs attend 12 in services a year to maintain their license. They are also CPR certified.

Resident Safety

All residents have emergency pull cords in their apartments and staff does wellness checks throughout the day and night to ensure the residents are safe. We assist and support our new and current residents any way we can.

Transportation

Transportation to and from medical appointments is provided by MTM, a state medical non-emergency transportation company. Winslow Gardens does offer transportation to grocery stores weekly and outdoor scheduled activities.

Dining

Winslow dining room is for Assisted and Independent living residents. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are provided daily. We also offer alternatives to the main meal if residents prefer.

Grievance Procedure

If a resident has a complaint, we have a Grievance Procedure. We provide them with a Grievance form and, if needed, help fill it out. It is then given to the Administrator who shall address the grievance promptly.

Family Communication

Communication with families is constant. However, most contact would be if there is a significant change in health status.

Short-Term Stays

At this time we do not offer short-term stays or respite.

Pet-Friendly

We are a pet-friendly community; however, we do ask that families help out if their loved one needs a hospital stay or nursing home stay.

Vaccinations

Residents are able to get their Covid and Flu vaccinations here as we hold a clinic every year for this.

Aging in Place

Many of our Assisted living residents have started out in Independent living and transition to the Assisted living floor. Yes, residents can age in place. If a higher level of care is needed, we help them find the best long-term care facility for their loved one. We also now offer Assisted living memory care at the Loft at Linn, which is in the same building as Winslow.

Wait List

We do have a wait list, however, it can move quickly. Sometimes I go down the list and the first 20 are not ready, so it does go pretty quick sometimes.
