Overview of Professional Staff and Training

Blackstone’s staff includes RN’s, CNA’s, Med. Technicians, Certified Dementia Staff Members, and individuals with a variety of different degrees in many subjects.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Blackstone offers secured environments for Dementia/Memory Care level Residents. We have daily measures in place for all Dining Rooms for meals, and sign in and sign out formats for all Residents and Families.

Transition Support Services

Our staff is trained on transitioning new Residents into our Community, with individual’s Levels of Care considered.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation services to Medical Appointments, and programs/calendar transportation services for shopping and trips with our Community bus.

Dining Experience

Three meals daily are offered seven days per week in one of our three Dining Rooms, with full wait staff and Restaurant style dining with daily menus for all three meals.

Resident Complaints and Issues

The Resident will discuss their concern with our Executive Director, or Wellness Director.

Communication with Resident's Families

Updates and communication are handled through our Director of Nursing and Executive Director through emails, phone calls, and meetings.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer 30 to 60 day Respite stays. Please see attached for rates and a Winter Incentive for Respite stays we are presently offering.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes. Up to 35 pounds.

Waitlist Information

We are on a waitlist for 2 bedroom apartments.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

We hold COVID and Flu vaccination clinics on site once a year.

Aging in Place

Most Residents are able to age in place, dependent on what their conditions are. These are clinical decisions made by my Wellness Director, as to whether we can accommodate care for each individual. We do not offer Nursing Home care.
