Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Yes, it is separated into two tiers. There is a card attached that offers more information on this.
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
Fee Schedule is attached for you to review as well as our brochure that gives you insight on WindsorMeade.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Our team comprises seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the senior living industry. You can read more about our leadership team here: https://www.windsormeade.org/leadership-team. Each team member brings a wealth of knowledge and credentials to their role. Our Director of Health Care Services oversees a clinical team, comprised of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants. Our clinical team also includes a medical director and a nurse practitioner.
Additionally, department directors and their associates contribute their expertise, collectively forming a well-rounded team. Each team member completes annual training relating to the field of aging, safety measures and additional training as needed. Our clinical team participates in specific training related to direct care for residents. Depending on what level of care they work, their training may differ.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
At our community, safety is our top priority. We provide security 24/7. We are a gated community and have officers onsite patrolling regularly. In the event of a medical emergency, we offer a pendant program equipped with a button. When residents press this button, it instantly sends a signal to our dedicated nursing and security staff on-site. They promptly receive the resident’s location and name, allowing them to respond swiftly and effectively.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
At our community, we collaborate with reliable third-party contractors who specialize in assisting with the entire moving process. From meticulous packing to downsizing and organization, our contractors ensure a seamless transition. Your move will be handled with care and expertise, allowing you to focus on settling into your new home.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, transportation to non-emergency medical visits are included in the monthly fee within a 10-mile radius. Additionally, we organize weekly shopping trips to make life easier. And for those seeking spiritual connection, we provide regular access to religious services. Some transportation services might be an additional charge. All of our transportation team are WindsorMeade employees. We have a fleet of vehicles that are wheelchair accessible.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
We have a casual dining venue that serves breakfast (all day), lunch and dinner. A formal dining venue that is open for dinner Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday for brunch. Our experienced chef and dedicated dining director have been part of our community for over a decade. Their expertise permeates through our entire staff, ensuring exceptional service and a delightful array of delicious meal selections in both our formal and casual dining venues.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
The typical process is to reach out to the director who is in charge of that department. For instance, if there’s a maintenance issue, you can reach out to our Director of Maintenance. Our directors are accessible to address resident’s complaints, concerns or questions.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Before your move-in, we’ll guide you through a straightforward process. You’ll complete a contact sheet where you can list your emergency contacts. These are the individuals we’ll promptly inform in case of any emergency.
Our administration office will kindly request copies of your Power of Attorney (POA) and Trust documents. Meanwhile, the clinic team will seek a copy of your Health Care POA or Advance Medical Directive. These essential forms provide WindsorMeade with valuable insights on whom to contact for specific events.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Yes, I have attached our fee schedule above.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes, we allow dogs, cats and birds.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes, residents can get vaccinated at our clinic.
Are residents able to age in place?
For this question, it would be better to talk through this over the phone or in person. A lot depends on the scenario you are referring to.
Basically, safety is our highest priority. You can age in place as long as all of your needs are being met in the level of care you are living in.
