Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We currently have availability on some 1-bedroom floor plans. We have a wait-list for large 1/1’s and all of the 2 bedrooms.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Windsor Pointe has a professional Life Enrichment Coordinator and a team of Life Enrichment Assistants. The Maintenance Director has worked in the Senior Living Industry for many years. The rest of the team is overseen by the Executive Chef and/or Residence Director. Staff is required to undergo a background check and is required to attend monthly trainings.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
Windsor Pointe has a true sense of community and folks really look out for their neighbors. We have a 24-hour Concierge here at the community. The front entrance is locked at 8:00 PM; residents have key fob entry for this door and all other exterior doors.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
All Departments meet with new residents to assist with navigating schedules, dining, transportation, etc. Resident Ambassadors also introduce themselves and work to make connections. The Ambassadors also invite the new resident to dinner to help them get acquainted.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, Bus service includes shopping, museums, the symphony, lunch outings, etc. Car service is also included for Dr. Appointments.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Yes! We offer a lot of variety with the Gold Leaf dining program. Breakfast and Dinner are included and Lunch is available for a fee. Breakfast is 7-9:30 and is buffet style with really nice choices including fresh fruit, eggs, breakfast meat, pastries, juices, coffee, and a daily special that rotates. Dinner is table service with 3 courses included or a more casual menu in the Pub. Really nice choices available for the evening meal.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Any Resident issue or request should be brought directly to the Residence Director and it will be handled timely.
What is the cost of living in your community?
The cost for 1 person starts at $3600.00
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
There is an email that goes out weekly to all Resident Families. If Resident consent we have a great Facebook page that showcases activities and events. Lifeloop is an app that residents and families may use to view activities. Family is welcome to call and speak to the Residence Director anytime.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Typically respite stays are offered at Assisted Living and where care is needed.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes, small pets are welcome. We ask for a one-time $500.00 pet fee.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We offer vaccine clinics and they are conducted by a 3rd party.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, folks can stay here in Independent Living as long as they are safe. They are able to bring in services as needed and when the time is right transition to Assisted Living and Memory Care next door. We currently have availability on some 1-bedroom floor plans. We have a wait-list for large 1/1’s and all of the 2 bedrooms.
