Availability and Waitlist Information

As far as a waitlist goes, we currently have some availability on our Independent / Assisted side of the building, and we have upcoming availability on our memory care unit. The availability changes from time to time. We have a deposit process where you can make a $500 “refundable” deposit on a room and will be notified once that style apartment becomes available.

About Windsor Place

Windsor Place is family owned and operated, with our owners working in their building, this is a plus! We have nurses in our building from 8 AM – 8 PM and on call overnight. We have 3 shifts of nursing assistants working in our building as well, 7-3, 3-11, and 11-7. We provide ongoing staff development training per regulation.

Resident Support and Safety

Our residents can opt for a pendant which they can push when they need assistance. There are pull cords in each bathroom as well. We take attendance during mealtimes. We provide overnight checks for those that request them.

Transportation and Activities

We have a van which transports our residents to medical appointments within a 20-mile radius, we do not go into Boston. We also provide a van to the local stores such as Market Basket, CVS, The Dollar Store etc. We reserve Wednesday as the day we go out on a fun trip with our van, the movies, lunch, or a play etc.

Community Integration

Our staff members as well as some of our residents assist with welcoming new residents into our community. Our Activities Director is also very helpful to all our residents, especially those who are new to our community.

Meals and Dining

Three meals are included in our rental fee. Breakfast is made to order, there are two entrees available for lunch and dinner with a separate “always available” menu to choose from as well.

Communication and Care

A resident can voice a complaint or concern to any of our staff members. We are all trained to listen and respond appropriately. Our nursing staff is available in person, by phone or by email to discuss your loved one. We also have a meeting every 6 months, per regulation. If you would like an update on your loved one you can reach out to our nursing staff. If we need to make you aware of an issue, we will call the #1 contact in our medical chart to do so. Our owner periodically sends email updates as well.

Respite Stay and Pet Policy

We offer a 30-day respite stay in a furnished apartment. The cost of the respite stay is $300 more than the prices listed in our brochure. We are a pet friendly community and have a pet policy.

Health and Wellness

We did have a clinic to provide our residents with the Covid booster, flu shot as well as other vaccinations. Our residents can age in place if it is appropriate. Hospice care is allowed into our community to assist with end-of-life care.
