Types of Living Arrangements
Depending on the area of the building that you are interested in will determine the type of staff. We have Independent, Enhanced Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long Term Care and Rehab.
Safety and Well-Being
The measure to ensure safety and the resident's well-being.
Activities and Transportation
Our activity staff schedules outings with the residents where transportation is provided. There is also an outside transportation company that transports residents 24 hours a day/7 days a week. This cost would be the responsibility of the resident/family directly with the company.
Dining Options
Residents can dine either in their room or in our dining room.
Resolving Complaints and Concerns
If a resident has a complaint or concern, they can speak to the liaison. If they feel more comfortable speaking with another employee, that employee can bring it to the attention of a manager.
Family Communication
Every family is different in how they want to communicate and to what level of information they want. The person inquiring would need to have something in place for us to share information. We are not able to share information on our residents unless the right paperwork is in place.
Respite Stays
We do offer respite stays. The price varies depending on the area of the building you are interested in.
Pets Policy
We do allow certain pets in certain areas of the building. There are some rules that apply to having a pet.
Availability of Rooms
We do have availability. There are some room sizes that are not available at this time, but we can definitely show you others that may interest you.
Healthcare Services
We do have companies that come into the facility at certain times for the flu shot clinic. We also have an Urgent Care on the premises that is open 7 days a week. You can access the urgent care from inside the building.
Aging in Place
Residents are definitely able to age in place. That is the beauty of Windemere! We have had many couples living in different areas of the building because of their needs. We also have had a spouse stay at Windemere for a respite while their family member is in the Rehab. This helps family members who are unable to bring their parent to visit the other during their stay. They can go visit their loved one in the skilled nursing and then return to their room in the other part of the building at any time. When the family member is discharged, the respite person can leave with them.
