Types of Professionals and Training

We employ Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Being a skilled nursing home, our staff members are trained to provide skilled levels of care essential for admission.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

Our facility has secured exits that restrict entry to the front unless accessed via a badge. Each unit is equipped with a wander guard system for residents identified as a wandering risk, ensuring their safety.

Resources for Transition into the Community

We are a skilled nursing home focusing primarily on long-term care. Unless the resident is admitted for short-term rehabilitation, they generally stay with us through the end of life.

Transportation Services

We do not offer transportation services for residents.

Dining Experience

Residents dine in their respective unit's dining room, maintaining consistency and comfort within their living environment.

Complaint or Issue Resolution Process

Residents should first address complaints to the charge nurse. If unresolved, the issue is escalated to the unit manager, administrator, and then the director of nursing, depending on the nature of the problem.

Communication with Residents' Families

We communicate any acute events promptly. Regular communication occurs through quarterly meetings with family members, the resident if they are able, and representatives from nursing, dietary, social services, and activities departments.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Respite stays are available at a private pay rate of $477 per day, with a minimum two-week commitment.

Pet-Friendly Policy

Families can bring vaccinated dogs to visit. However, we do not have resident animals living within our facility.

Vaccination Services

We provide COVID-19 and flu vaccinations. Once a resident is with us, their primary care provider becomes one of our facility's providers, making external community vaccination unnecessary.

Aging in Place

As a skilled facility with five long-term total care units, residents remain with us for the remainder of their lives. The waiting list depends on the type of unit needed, especially for secure units or those requiring wandering prevention measures.
