Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training
Our team comprises caregivers and Med Techs available 24/7, all of whom are licensed professionals. We collaborate closely with doctors and hospice care to ensure our staff receives monthly training, keeping them up-to-date with the latest in care practices and protocols.
Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, our caregivers and Med Techs are stationed at the entrance around the clock. Visiting hours are from 8am to 8pm. For certain residents, wonder guards are used to alert staff if they approach an exit, though they are free to roam within the community.
Transition Support Services
We assist new residents with paperwork, scheduling transportation, and managing medications and physician appointments. The only requirement from family members is income verification, such as bank statements.
Transportation Services
Our community offers a bus for outings and appointments. For non-ambulatory residents, we arrange transportation through services like Uber.
Dining Experience
Residents have assigned seating and can request alternative meals, like a Chef Salad, if the day's meal does not appeal to them. We also cater to specific dietary needs.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Monthly Council meetings with our Executive Director and management team provide a platform for residents to voice concerns. Additionally, residents can approach any member of management with issues, which are then discussed in daily morning meetings.
Communication with Residents' Families
Our management team, including the Business Office Manager and Wellness Director, maintains open lines of communication with residents' families, ensuring they are informed of any issues or updates regarding their loved ones.
Short-term and Respite Stays
While we offer both short-term and respite stays, our engaging environment means we have very few short-term residents.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community, currently home to residents with kittens.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
While we do not administer vaccinations directly, we arrange for doctors to come into the community to provide Covid and flu vaccinations to residents.
Aging in Place
Our community supports aging in place. While we offer physical therapy and other services that enable some residents to return home, many choose to stay due to the positive environment.
Availability
We currently have no waitlist for our assisted living, allowing for immediate placement of new residents.
