Support Services for New Residents

New residents are supported through various resources such as a dedicated Resident Liaison, a Resident Hospitality Committee, a Newcomer’s Social Group, and a Newcomer’s Group led by a Social Worker to facilitate a smooth transition into the community.

Dining Experience

Our dining options include a Bistro, the Center Stage Main Dining Room, and a Pub. Residents can use their monthly points in any of these venues as part of their dining plan.

Residents with complaints should contact a member of the Resident Council, specifically one from the committee related to their issue.

Cost of Living

Whitney Center offers two contract types and three refundable entry fee plans. Entry fees range from $153,000 to over $1M, with monthly fees between $2,924 and $7,708, depending on apartment size, contract type, and entry fee refundability.

Communication with Residents' Families

As an independent living community, Whitney Center communicates with family members according to the resident’s permission and wishes.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Short-term respite stays are contingent on bed availability.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, Whitney Center is a pet-friendly community.

Lifecare at Whitney Center

Entering into a lifecare contract can help safeguard financial assets and secure any future long-term healthcare you may need—all while experiencing resort-quality lifestyle benefits. Lifecare is a great idea whether or not you have long-term care insurance, because it protects your finances. As a Lifecare senior living community, Whitney Center provides independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care and memory care right on campus, in one familiar location. If all Whitney Center offered were the powerful benefits of Lifecare we would still be a great choice for senior living. But we go above and beyond, providing a high level of amenities and services that benefit your whole life.

Unbundled Lifecare Contract Option

In addition, Whitney Center offers an Unbundled Lifecare contract. This contract includes the same services, amenities, and access to long-term care as a Full Lifecare contract, however, with a lower entry fee. With an Unbundled Lifecare contract, assisted living, assisted living with memory support and skilled nursing would be private pay - if and when you ever needed it.
