Overview of Staff and Training

Our facility boasts a diverse team of professionals, all with extensive backgrounds and comprehensive training. Several staff members hold a Masters level education and national certifications. Our team includes CNAs, Med Aids, Licensed Recreational Therapists, LPNs, and RNs, along with a primary care physician overseeing our Care and Wellness Center or Skilled Nursing Facility. We also have Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology Therapists, and Occupational Therapists on staff.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents with a gated community and 24/7 security. Buildings are locked at a certain time each evening and can only be accessed with a key code or passkey.

Support for Residents' Transition

To assist residents' transition into the community, we provide a Health and Wellness Navigator for our Independent Living residents to guide them into other levels of care.

Transportation Services

We offer complimentary transportation services for local doctor appointments and shopping shuttles to nearby stores.

Dining Experience

Our Independent Living residents enjoy a dining allocation with three dining options: a buffet, A La Carte options, and a Bistro with lighter fare. For Assisted Living, all meals are served in the dining room and included.

Complaint Handling Process

Residents can bring complaints or issues to any community member, including our leadership team, to be addressed by the appropriate party.

Cost of Living

The cost of living varies based on the home and community sector. Entrance fees range from $30,000 to $370,000, while monthly service fees are between $3,300 and $12,000, particularly in Skilled Nursing.

Communication with Families

We maintain communication with residents' families based on the residents' requests and Power of Attorney details provided to us. The frequency and mode of communication depend on the resident's needs.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We potentially offer respite stays in our Skilled Nursing Facility, subject to bed availability, with costs ranging from $340 to $410 per day.

Pet Policy

Our community is pet-friendly in Independent Living, though pets aren't allowed in Assisted Living/Memory Care or Skilled Nursing, except for service animals. Pet visitors are welcome in these areas.

Waitlist Status

Currently, all Independent Residences have a waitlist, excluding studio apartments.

Vaccination Availability

Residents have access to Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place Policy

Yes, our residents can age in place within our community.

About WhiteStone

WhiteStone is a Continued Care Retirement Community that offers all levels of care including, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing.

Assisted Living

Because we are a CCRC, our Assisted Living is under a Closed Certificate of Need. This means our Assisted Living is solely reserved for residents who have resided in one of our Independent Living residences for at least 30 days.

Entrance Fee

We do require a one-time Entrance Fee into the community, which can start at $30,000.00 for an Independent Living studio apartment and is dependent on the type of home you choose.
