Community Details
This detailed information was received through an email from the Assisted Living Sales Counselor at Westminster Oaks via email on 2023-10-26.
Staff and Training
In our assisted living, we have RNs, LPNs, Med Techs, and CNAs. In addition, all staff has to complete ongoing RELIAS courses on safety, elopement, emergency actions, etc.
Safety and Security
We are required under our state regulations pertaining to assisted living to adhere to certain safety measures. We have plans in place for emergent situations. We also have 24-hour security and are a gated community.
Additional Services
We can offer referral services for aid in transition such as moving companies, case managers, and we have staff that follow up after a move with any needs.
Transportation
We have transportation at no additional charge to our residents.
Dining Services
Our dining is 3 meals a day in a common dining area. It is seated service with meals being delivered to tables by staff. Residents make a choice from options of food for each meal.
Complaints Procedure
As far as complaints, depending on what they are, would be first directed to the assisted living coordinator, then can be brought to the assistant executive director then executive director.
Cost and Fees
The cost sheet was attached but I am attaching another here.
Family Communication
There is an open policy of communication with our residents' families. They are given contact numbers to call. We also use email and the US postal service for communications.
Respite Care
We do not offer respite care at this time.
Pet Policy
Our assisted living is NOT a pet-friendly community at this time. We have availability right now in studio-size apartments in our assisted living. We have a waiting list for 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments.
