Staff and Training

Our staff includes a range of professionals dedicated to providing the best care. Attached is a brochure on Heartfelt connections, highlighting our commitment to quality staff training, which includes monthly sessions to ensure our team is well-equipped to meet residents' needs.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents is our top priority. We have 24-hour staff and security in place, ready to handle any challenges that may arise.

Transition Support Services

To aid residents' transition into the community, our Activity Director organizes support groups twice a month and a monthly “Welcome party/celebration” for new residents. We recommend family members limit visits during the first 2 weeks to allow residents to adjust to their new environment smoothly.

Transportation Services

We provide medical transportation services within a 10-mile radius to support our residents' needs.

Dining Experience

Our dining room offers a restaurant-style experience with a choice of at least 6 entrees, alongside an “always available” menu. Residents are involved in monthly food committee meetings to discuss and influence the menu, which is updated every 90 days.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

A resident guide, which includes information on how complaints or issues are addressed, has been included in this email.

Communication with Residents' Families

We conduct a care plan meeting within the first 2 weeks of a resident's move-in to discuss care plans and address any concerns. Subsequent care plan meetings are scheduled approximately every 90 days to keep families updated on their loved ones' well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays, requiring only the deposit and the daily rate without a community fee, as the apartment is furnished.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community.

Vaccination Services

Residents can receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community through our partnership with TarryTown, provided they use TarryTown as their primary pharmacy.
