Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

Yes, depending on apartment sizes as we have over 60 floor plans.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

Again we have over 600 employees from an executive team, nurses, CNA’s, housekeeping, engineering, etc. Everyone is trained in their particular field.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

WCR is certified through CARF and regulated by the Department of Social Services.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

Yes, we have floor reps as well as numerous residents who volunteer their time to get folks acclimated to the community. However, one must reach out on their own to sign up for activities and meet new people. We have over 22+ committees one can join to stay active in the community.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

We have a transportation team with numerous cars, shuttles, and a bus.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We have 5 dining venues with a different menu at each.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

Go to your resident liaison first and then climb the chain of command.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

This is more of an assisted living or health care thing. There is a process in place where in assisted living and the health center, they have family meetings set up on a regular basis.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

We have in the past in our health center however with 200 more residents coming in, we may not be able to accept people from the outside community directly into our healthcare anymore for short-term respite care. Healthcare is currently $442 to $544 a day depending on your needs.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

Yes

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

Yes

Are residents able to age in place?

To a certain degree. In independent living, you must remain safe in your apartment or home. Once it is clear you are no longer safe, you must move to another level of care where you can receive the resources you need.
