Whether you’re recovering from an illness or surgery, our goal is to get you back to your life as quickly as possible. Every spacious, private suite includes a flat panel TV, WiFi and private bath. Your medications are kept discretely and securely in your suite.

Private Suite $400 per day

Prices effective January 1, 2023 for direct admission residents.

Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Services (included in fee)

• Nurses and staff on duty around the clock and available to attend to your specific medical needs
• 24-hour emergency response system for peace of mind that assistance is seconds away, if needed
• Assistance with bathing, dressing and other activities of daily living as needed
• Three restaurant-style meals daily; choose from our chef’s menu

Service fees are billed to a Resident’s account, except for postage, copying and guest meals, which may be paid at the reception desk.

Gift Certificates (minimum of $5.00) for Wesley Woods services are available at the Front Desk.

Overview of Professional Staff and Training

Our facility is staffed with RNs, LPNs, STNAs, and a Direct Care team. All professionals undergo training through our community, and those with licenses are required to maintain them in good standing. We conduct annual trainings and additional sessions as needed to enhance our skills and ensure a consistent and high-quality approach to care.

Safety and Well-Being Measures

We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents with 24/7 monitoring, a 24/7 receptionist, on-site cameras and security, motion detectors for inactivity alerts, and round-the-clock nursing availability.

Support Services for Transitioning Residents

We work with several companies to offer personalized support for residents moving into our community, facilitating a smooth transition.

Dining Experience

In care areas, we offer family-style dining. For independent living residents, we provide a full-service kitchen, a free continental breakfast, a $100 meal credit per month, and four dining spaces including casual dining, grab-and-go options, formal restaurant-style dining, and a Sunday brunch buffet. Our dining services are led by an award-winning chef and a dedicated team.

Resident Complaints and Issues

Complaints are taken seriously and managed by our resident services director for independent living, with the director of nursing and executive director available as needed. We address concerns on an individual basis.

Cost of Living

All pricing information for 2023 was provided in the previous email. Pricing for 2024 is not yet available.

Communication with Residents' Families

We communicate with residents' families in accordance with the resident's HIPAA preferences. Families can access resident portals to view dining and activity schedules and are welcome to call and schedule appointments with our team.

Short-Term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term or respite stays in our skilled area as availability allows and when needs are appropriate, at a standard daily rate of $450.

Pet-Friendly Community

Yes, we are a pet-friendly community.

Waitlist Information

We currently have a waitlist, with a few one-bedroom apartments available in Independent Living.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Residents can receive Covid and flu vaccinations during our semi-annual clinics.

Aging in Place

Yes, residents are able to age in place within our community.

About Wesley Woods at New Albany

Wesley Woods at New Albany is a new Life Plan Community (LPC) located on the western edge of New Albany serving active and engaged 55+ adults. The 37-acre campus boasts single family homes (known as Villas) and apartments, but there is also Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care so that as our residents age, they can age in place and know they will receive high quality care as needed.

There are many services included in the fees that you should be aware of: housekeeping, maintenance, security, grounds keeping, all utilities, scheduled local transportation, 24-hour emergency response system, plus several other services.
