Overview of Professionals and Training

Our Wellness team is led by our Health and Wellness Director, Shelly, and supported by Nurse Michael (not me), both of whom are LVNs. Each shift is led by a Med Tech who has received additional training. Some of our main line care staff are CNAs, but that is not required. All caregivers receive detailed training and undergo several days of shadowing to prepare for working directly with our residents. We conduct regular in-services to empower our staff with additional information and skills.

Safety Measures for Residents

WellQuest utilizes a state-of-the-art program called CarePredict. Residents wear a CarePredict wristband, which serves as a "Help button" and much more. The devices monitor heart rate, activity patterns, and other data, creating alerts for our Nurses if the data indicates a possible concern. For those who are more independent, they use a daily check-in button to let us know they are doing well.

Support Services for Transition

We pair new residents with a Resident Ambassador to help make those early days a success. We also host a monthly lunch with all of our new residents, the ambassadors, the resident council president, and all available managers.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation to shopping trips on Mondays while Tuesdays and Wednesdays are reserved for Doctors' appointments. We go out for fun on Wednesdays.

Dining Experience

Dining is an elevated experience at WellQuest. Residents have a daily menu of specials as well as an all-day menu that we rotate seasonally. Elevated proteins such as steak and salmon are common presences on our menu.

Complaint or Issue Resolution Process

Our lines of communication are always open. We also have suggestion boxes for both the community in general as well as dining specifically.

Cost of Living

Rates start at about $4,000/month for an independent resident in a studio apartment. One-bedrooms range between $4,500-$5,500.

Policy on Communication with Families

Residents are welcome to have a landline or cell phone for their apartment. Residents have private, locked mailboxes for outside mail and "cubbies" for our internal updates.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Our minimum length of stay is 30 days.

Pet Policy

We are pet-friendly in Independent and Assisted Living. Memory Care is on a case-by-case basis. There is a one-time pet fee of $750.

Waitlist Information

We currently have a waitlist for AL/IL, with one person each on the waitlist for our studio and smaller one-bedroom units and seven people waitlisted for our larger one-bedroom units.

Vaccination Availability

We do offer an annual on-site clinic for Covid and flu vaccinations.

Aging in Place

Under most circumstances, yes. We have a hospice waiver to allow terminally ill residents to remain in the place they have come to know as home. When hospice is not a consideration, there are a few medical needs that we are not able to accommodate, including breathing and feeding tubes, IV medications, or other similar highly-medical interventions.

Apartment Options

For our Independent and Assisted Living setting, we offer a spacious deluxe studio apartment that is approximately 470 ft² and features a "pony wall" which creates a bedroom and living room even though it is officially a studio. Our 1-bedroom apartments range from 508-780 ft².

Waitlist Information

Regarding a waitlist, I currently have one person on the waitlist for our studio and smaller 1-bedroom apartments. For the larger 1-bedroom apartments, I do have one of my largest units, a "Granada" in the attached brochure, that will be coming available September 1st which has not yet been spoken for.
