Overview of Professional Staff and Training

We have a wide variety of professional staff at Well-Spring. Specific to Health Care, we employ RN’s, LPN’s, Med-Techs, and they all undergo extensive ongoing training at Well-Spring as well as off-site training to maintain professional licensures.

Safety and Well-being Measures

Resident safety is a top priority at Well-Spring. Our campus is a gated community, and we ask all visitors to check-in with the guard upon arrival. We also employ a robust security staff that not only patrols our campus but also staffs the transportation that we offer.

Resources and Support Services for Residents

Our residents are all welcomed not only during the New Resident Orientation process but also by our resident Hospitality Committee. We also have an on-site counseling resource for any residents that are interested in one-on-one or group counseling services.

Transportation Services

We offer transportation at no charge for our residents to doctors’ appointments and airport transfers, as well as scheduled transportation to places like banks, grocery stores, and the very popular Tanger Center in downtown Greensboro.

Dining Experience

We have 2 dining venues at Well-Spring: the Bauman Bistro and the Weaver Dining Room. The Bistro is the more casual of the two spaces, and we serve three meals daily in the Bistro. The menu is on a 4-week rotation and changes daily. The Weaver Dining Room is our fine dining venue where we serve dinner only. The Weaver Dining Room menu is also on a 4-week rotation but the menu stays the same for one week at a time. Everyone at Well-Spring has 35 meals per person per month to use at their discretion. Meals can be used for dine-in, carry-out, delivery, and to host friends and family.

Complaint Resolution Process

Complaints are addressed by a plethora of people. We work together to resolve any issues that may arise. If necessary, concerns can be handled by the Director of Resident Relations or the Associate Director.

Communication with Residents' Families

Our campus publishes a monthly newsletter called the Currents that is distributed to all residents as well as applicants for future occupancy. We also keep copies at the concierge desk for any family members that would like a copy. If our professional staff needs to communicate with a resident’s family member, they are contacted directly.

Short-term or Respite Stays

If our census permits, we will offer respite stays at Well-Spring. The rate for Assisted Living respite care is $307 per day, skilled nursing and memory support respite stays are $496 per day.

Pet-Friendly Community

We are very pet-friendly at Well-Spring. Our pets are an extension of our family, and we make every effort to accommodate four-legged family members. We have a beautiful dog park on our campus that is utilized regularly by our resident population.

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Yes, residents are able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community.

Aging in Place

We encourage our residents to utilize the continuum of care if their health needs change. However, we offer home care services to residents that choose to age in place. Home Health Care is at the expense of the resident.

Independent Living Waiting List

At Well-Spring we maintain a waiting list for Independent Living residences. Applicants for future occupancy join our waiting list a few years before they are ready to move. We make the process to join the waiting list simple and efficient.
