Overview of Staff and Training

We have a variety of employees from front office staff, housekeeping, dietary, the care team, and more. All staff, no matter the department, receive annual Alzheimer’s and dementia training through the state of Minnesota. Our care givers are either CNAs, LPNs, or RNs.

Measures for Resident Safety and Well-being

We have a lot of measures in place to ensure the safety of residents such as 24/7 nursing and locked exit and entry. For specific safety situations, please feel free to inquire so that I can provide more detailed information.

Resources and Support Services for Transition

Our staff helps to assist in the transition process by providing more one-on-one support.

Transportation Services

We do not offer transportation services. Transportation is up to the family.

Dining Experience

All meals are served within the household that the resident resides in! We provide breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. All our meals must be had in the dining room as we do not serve meals in rooms. All our meals are one option since we are all memory care, but there is always the choice of soup or salad or soup and sandwich if the resident does not like what is served.

Process for Complaints or Issues

Residents are welcome to communicate with staff about any need. However, since we are all memory care, many residents are not able to accurately express their complaints, so we ask that family relays any complaints they may hear so we can address the issue.

Policy on Communication with Families

We will communicate any updates or condition changes with the family. All other day-to-day updates are based on how often you want to receive them. You are welcome to call the facility at any time and they will connect you to the nurse on the household where you can ask more specific questions and get a more accurate update from the person who would actually be with them for the day.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We do offer respite stays! The respite stay is an additional $10 to the daily rate that they would assess out to be.

Pet Policy

Pets can come in to visit but cannot live at the facility.

Waitlist Status

We separate out by level of care, so it depends on which level they would assess out for. However, we do have openings!

Covid and Flu Vaccinations

Yes! We have vaccine clinics each fall.

Aging in Place

Yes! We are an age-in-place model set up to provide care through end of life. The only things that we do not do here are feeding tubes, IV medications, wound vacuums, and certain lymphatic wraps.
