Our Staff

We employ RN's, LPN, STNA, and PCA. We also have an activity director and a beautician on staff. Nurses must meet the requirement to maintain licensure established by the Ohio Board of Nursing. All staff completes annual courses in our online learning site, these courses include Confidentiality, Abuse, Neglect reporting, HIPPA laws, Infection control, and many more.

Services Provided

Safety and well-being are provided by Nurses monitoring and administrating prescribed medication. ADL care is scheduled and performed by our STNA or PCA and is resident specific. Meals are prepared and served in our dining room and meet dietetic established guidelines. Activities for socialization are scheduled by our activity director.

We have a buddy program where we pair up a new resident with a current resident who helps getting her acclimated to things like dining schedule, building layout, activity location, etc.

We have transportation for residents to and from any medical appointment; we also use our bus for resident outings.

Dining Experience

We have 2 dining rooms; our goal is to set up a restaurant-like experience. Residents are served all meals in the dining room and are able to make choices from a list of alternatives as well. We start each meal with coffee or tea to those who want it then move on to the main course. Meals are served to the residents by staff at the dining table. This also creates socialization opportunities for our residents.

Complaints and Resolutions

Individual complaints are brought to myself for investigation. I investigate each complaint and come up with a resolution. If a complaint meets an abuse or neglect or misappropriation criteria, it is reported to the Ohio Department of Health. Residents may also call the local ombudsman if they feel the concern is not resolved. We also hold a monthly resident council meeting where residents can voice concerns as a group.

Cost and Payment

Cost varies depending upon room size and care needed. Range from $3,600-$5,100. Average cost for most is about $4,100 monthly. We also accept Medicaid Waiver.

Family Communication

Nurses are responsible to update family contact on any significant change, medication change, fall, transfer, etc. Family may call the nurses' phone for an update as well.

Facility Policies

We do not have a respite room at this time. We allow pets to visit but do not allow pets to live with residents. We administer Flu vaccine annually. We do not administer the Covid vaccination. Residents may remain at Wayne Manor as long as they meet requirements.
