Do you guys currently have a waitlist?

We do have a waitlist for certain apartments, especially our 3 bedrooms. I have a couple of 2 bedrooms available or will be available within the next month. I also have one small 1 bedroom.

Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?

Our staff at Independent Living consists of administration, concierge, activity director, housekeeping, and dietary (dining room staff). We do not have caregivers or any ancillary staff that require training.

Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?

We have basic safety measures such as fire alarms, a sprinkler system, a key fob entry for outside doors, and gated parking. Our courtyard is self-contained and surrounded by wrought iron fencing. As an Independent Living apartment complex, we do not have pull cords in the apartment or any other monitoring system.

Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?

We offer a Signature Lifestyle program, a bridge program between Independent and Assisted Living. We provide daily check-ins, food, laundry/linen services, and medication reminders. Residents can also bring outside caregivers or home health/hospice to fill care gaps.

Do you offer transportation services for residents?

We do offer transportation services, which are included with rent. Mon-Wed, we do doctor appointments/medical things, and Thur-Fri, we do grocery stores, banks, shopping, etc.

Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?

We have a free breakfast 6 days per week as well as lunch and dinner. You can eat in the dining room for lunch or order it to go or delivery. Dinner is delivery only. It is set up like a restaurant for the dining experience. You get a 75.00 credit with your base rent for dining services.

What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?

If a resident has an issue or complaint, they would come to the administration offices and ask to speak to the director, or myself. We are happy to listen and help solve issues.

What is the cost of living in your community?

Our apartment rates range from 2300 for small one bedrooms up to 3900 for large 3 bedrooms.

What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?

As an Independent Living, we do not communicate on a regular basis about our residents. This is no different than those living in an age-restricted neighborhood or apartment complex. However, if we notice changes in normal conditions or a fall in a communal place, we will reach out to visit.

Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?

We do not offer short-term or respite stays. Our assisted living building (on the same campus) does offer this, as well as more monitoring and health communication. They also have caregivers and nurses on staff.

Are you all a pet-friendly community?

We are pet-friendly! We have a dog park in our courtyard for our furry family to play.

Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?

We do offer flu shots each year.

Are residents able to age in place?

Yes! With our Signature Lifestyle program as well as home health and caregivers, many of our residents are successfully aging in place.
