I hope this finds you well and my apologies on not getting back to you sooner. I have listed your questions with the answers below. I did answer this based off of Assisted Living so if you were interested in Independent Living or Memory care, I can always tweak my answers if you need any further information.
Could you provide an overview on the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
I am happy to dig further into this if you have any more specific questions. Our staff is highly trained and continues to do mandatory trainings throughout the year specifically geared towards caring for our residents and how to best support them in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. We focus heavily on Dementia education as well.Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have routine trainings for our care staff and all employees in our community. It is required for everyone in our building to keep up to date on this training. We also have regular drills in the building for fire, tornado, elopements, and active shootings etc. This is also mandated by the State.Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We have a welcoming committee to support our new residents in getting acquainted upon moving in.Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, we do. One wellness visit per week is included in our rent pricing. This is within a 20 mile to and from radius and I believe it is a dollar extra per mile if needing to go outside of that range.Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our restaurant in Assisted Living is open from 7:00 am-7:00 pm. Not set mealtimes and our residents can come down however many times whenever they would like in that time frame. It is set up as restaurant style, so our residents sit down and place their order with a server from a 4-page menu that is on each table.What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Typically, a resident would go to our Executive Director to talk through any concerns. We also have a monthly town hall lead by our Executive Director.What is the cost of living in your community?
I would be happy to send you more detailed information once you share what community (Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care) you would be most interested in learning more about. For assisted living purposes we have Studios and 1 Bedroom apartments. Our Studios start at $3,995 and our 1 bedroom starts at $6,400. The price can range a bit depending on the location and size of the apartment. Care fees would be in addition to the monthly rent, and we would do a wellness assessment to determine what those care fees would be using a point-based system.What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
This is a team effort but mainly comes from our Wellness team and/or Executive Director. We would be in communication about your loved one if any changes occurred about their care plan. We can communicate with you as much as you would like but always reach out with any concerns we have due to care and how we can best support your loved one.Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Yes, we do. The cost varies with this as it is case by case depending on how long the stay would be and the care that would be needed.Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes, we are. We just require a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $500.00.Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We do not currently have a waitlist for Assisted Living as we have 1 studio apartment currently available.Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes, our residents can get Flu and Covid vaccinations at the community by our wellness team.Are residents able to age in place?
