The Incentive to Personal Care is a senior living community that offers both personal care and memory care services. The facility is designed to cater to the needs of seniors who require assistance with daily living activities and those who are living with memory-related conditions.

Accommodation Options

The community provides two types of living arrangements for its residents: apartments and private rooms. Each living space is designed to offer comfort and privacy to the residents.

Availability and Waitlist

Prospective residents should be aware that there is currently a waitlist for joining the community, which ranges from six months to a year.

Respite Care

For individuals seeking short-term stays, The Incentive to Personal Care offers respite care services with a typical minimum stay of about one month.

Pet Policy

At this time, the facility does not allow pets within the community.

Transportation Services

Residents can benefit from transportation services provided by the community. A van is available to take residents to appointments within a five-mile radius of the facility.

Staffing and Medical Support

The community is staffed with med techs and resident aides. The director of nursing, who is a licensed practical nurse (LPN), oversees the staff. While there is a registered nurse (RN) available on certain days, an RN is not on-site at all times. Additionally, a nurse practitioner or physician is available to provide medical care to residents.

Safety Measures

While residents do not wear personal safety pendants, the facility is equipped with call lights in each room to ensure that residents can alert staff when assistance is needed.

Resident Concerns and Open-Door Policy

The community encourages an open-door policy, allowing residents to directly address any concerns or issues with the administrator's office, the administrative assistant, or the staff on duty.

Family Communication and Engagement

The Incentive to Personal Care maintains a Facebook page and has a system in place to alert families about important updates or issues, such as power outages or health-related concerns. The community also issues a monthly newsletter to keep families informed about events, holidays, and other relevant information.
