Types of Professionals on Staff and Training

Our facility boasts a dedicated team comprising certified caregivers, med techs, and assistants. Each member of our staff undergoes comprehensive training that includes both theoretical and practical aspects to ensure they are well-prepared to meet the needs of our residents. This training covers a range of essential skills and knowledge areas, including but not limited to, patient care techniques, emergency response, medication management, and interpersonal communication.

Measures to Ensure Resident Safety and Well-being

To uphold the safety and well-being of our residents, we have implemented several measures:

• Secured doors to prevent unauthorized access.
• Bed and chair alarms to monitor residents' movement.
• 24/7 caregiver presence to provide continuous support.
• Alarms on doors to enhance security.

Resources and Support Services for Transition into the Community

We understand the importance of a smooth transition for our residents. To facilitate this process, we:

• Introduce new residents to house staff and fellow residents.
• Spend one-on-one time with them to ensure they feel comfortable.
• Encourage participation in community activities.

Transportation Services for Residents

While we do not offer transportation services, we provide numerous on-site options to cater to the needs and enjoyment of our residents.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience is designed to foster social interaction through family-style dining. However, participation is not mandatory, allowing residents the flexibility to choose their dining style.

Complaints and Issue Resolution Process

Residents who have a complaint or issue can speak directly with a caregiver, care manager, assistant general manager, or the general manager. We ensure that all concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

Communication with Resident's Families

We place great importance on maintaining clear communication with the families of our residents. Our policy is to accommodate each family’s preferred communication method, whether it be phone calls, text messages, emails, or other forms of communication.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer short-term or respite stays for a minimum duration of 14 days at a rate of $250 per day.

Pet-friendly Community

Our community is pet-friendly, allowing residents to bring their pets for an additional fee.

Vaccinations for Covid-19 and Flu

Residents have access to Covid-19 and flu vaccinations, which are administered once a year during our on-site clinic.

Ability to Age in Place

We support residents' ability to age in place, and currently, there is no waitlist for this option.

About Us

We are privately owned and operated with multiple properties in Tucson/Green Valley, Arizona. Our Green Valley property offers Assisted living, Memory, and Behavioral care. We have ten villas, each with ten private bedrooms equipped with a spacious closet and a private half bath. Residents have the option of providing furniture or renting furniture for $200.00/monthly. The furniture package includes a twin-sized bed, nightstand, dresser, sitting chair, hamper, trash can, tv, one set of bedding, and towels.

Dining

Meals are cooked fresh daily in each villa, residents have the opportunity of participating in family-style dining to encourage socialization, or they can choose to eat in their rooms.

Activities

We offer 2 activities a day and encourage our residents to participate, however, if they choose not to attend that’s okay as well.

Services

The Villa’s at Green Valley does not provide transportation off property, we’ve partnered with several companies to offer as many in-house services as possible. Mobile physicians, mobile labs and x-rays, a podiatrist, occupational therapy, a hair salon, and more. If the resident has an off-property appointment, it’s the family’s responsibility to coordinate that.

Assistance with Daily Living

In this type of setting residents will have assistance with activities of daily living, these include dressing, toileting, meal prep, medication management, transfers, ambulating, showering, redirecting, giving cues, and reminders. Our caregiver-to-resident ratio is 1:5.
