Assisted Living at Benedictine The Summit
Assisted living at Benedictine The Summit is designed to provide a comfortable lifestyle and personalized care that are best suited to each resident's needs and preferences, while ensuring as much independence as possible. Our faith-based senior living community is grounded in our values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect, and Justice and offers a variety of services and amenities designed to help residents maintain health in body, mind, and spirit.Pricing and Services
To offer the most flexibility and customization, pricing and services are divided into three types:- All-Inclusive Monthly Rental: This covers apartment rental, meals, access to community common spaces, and the many amenities listed below.
- Care Packages: These provide daily, weekly, or monthly services, including care coordination, based on personal needs. During a nursing assessment, time for these services is tallied to identify a point package that corresponds to a monthly fee.
- The A La Carte Menu: This offers a range of special services, such as additional laundry and housekeeping services, meal delivery, and onsite therapy. A La Carte services are invoiced separately from Monthly Rental and Care Packages.

We offer flu shots every Fall.Vacancies
We do have vacancies at this time. I do place all inquiries on a contact list and periodically follow up with them to see if it is the right time to tour, admit, etc.Age in Place
We strongly encourage our tenants to admit and age in place. They do have to meet the criteria for Assisted Living and need to be able to toilet and transfer themselves safely. The sooner they can admit, adjust, and enjoy this quality of life, the better they adjust. We also can provide rehab services of Occupational and/or Physical Therapy if needed. The therapy department is attached to Assisted Living. If possible, they provide therapy in their rooms. If they need exercise equipment, they would take them to the therapy gym. We provide nutritious meals, activities, faith services, nursing care, and medication management if needed. We discourage waiting for a crisis fall, etc. as this makes the transition more difficult at a time of great need. We encourage them to come in and tour and explain our continuum of care as we are attached to a skilled facility and a Memory Care facility should needs arise.Family Notifications
We contact family if there are concerns or changes in condition.Concerns
We have a concern box with concern forms. We strongly encourage our tenants and family members that if concerns arise, please do visit with us as soon as possible to resolve the issue. This is preferred over using the form so we can quickly address the issue.Transport
Our community has a bus through Tri Valley that transports tenants Monday thru Friday locally. We also have R and L ride service for out of town appointments, etc.Safety
We are not a secure Assisted Living. We are currently installing security for our doors. Training will be soon once install is complete. Each tenant has a pendant to press to summon assistance should they need help.Contact and Assistance
I hope this is helpful and answers most of your questions. Please call me or send an email if any further questions. I would be very happy to tour you and your family.
