Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
No
Could you share pricing and any other general information?
Yes, I will attach to this email
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
I am a retired social worker of 20+ and CALM certified that I have continuing education annually to maintain it.
We have an LVN who maintains her nursing license and will be CALM certified in the next 2 months. We hold a monthly inservice to provide staff education on reminder topics as well as new information as it pertains to ongoing daily needs. We have monthly fire drills as we are a Type B facility in which everyone has to be out in 13 minutes or less
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have monthly fire drills, one on night shift and one for day shift to keep them sharp on the protocols and procedures for evacuation and what to do in the event of a fire. We encourage residents to come out for as many meals as possible and to activities even if passively participating. We have resident council once a month for them to voice their thoughts on the community.I will send a sample calendar for you.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Most of our staff is well versed in helping support residents transition to community life. We are all here to help the family and the resident adjust to their new lifestyle.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Our van is available for Wednesday appointments with 2 weeks notice. A family member has to agree to meet the resident at the appointment as we do not stay with them. The family member is responsible for relaying appointment information and paperwork to the facility wellness department.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
We have a quarterly menu rotation. The residents are encouraged to dine in the dining room. We post the menu on the wall in the dining room and also have printed copies for them or you to take. We offer a main entree and should it be something they do not care for we offer a chef salad, a hot or cold sandwich or an alternate protein.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Depending on the nature of the concern. The wellness director, unit manager or myself are available to take the concern. We write on a form, look into it and address it. The sooner the concern is presented the more quickly we can resolve and educate staff on what best meets your loved ones needs.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families?
We appreciate and welcome family involvement. We will be in contact when there are changes in medication, behaviors or health such as not eating or bathing.
How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We utilize phone calls and emails to keep you apprised of how they are doing. The Wellness Director and Executive Director are also available by text.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays?
We do offer respite stays, both are available with shortest being 3 nights and have not had a long term respite as we do not have a contract to it could be a regular stay that can be terminated with a 30 day notice of vacating.
How much does this cost?
Please see the attached document for pricing. There is a sheet for assisted living and respite stay as well as memory care (stepping stones) and respite in the section.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We are a pet friendly facility for small animals. The resident is responsible for their care. There is a $400.00 non refundable fee.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes
Are residents able to age in place?
The short answer is yes. There is more to it. If hospice is in place then a resident may continue to age in place. Should the resident have a change in condition that their care is out of our scope and home health care is not able to fill in the gap of the need then they may need a higher level of care. No
