Overview and Professionals
We have on staff at Victoria Commons, Director of Nursing, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Medication Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants here at the Commons.Assistance and Safety
I am not sure exactly what you are asking in terms of “safety and well-being” of residents. We are an Assisted Living Community, we assist residents with their daily routines, if they require assistance transporting to and from the dining room or activities we will do so. If they require assistance with bathing, toileting, brushing their hair teeth and etc., we will do so. Regarding “safety”, our nursing staff and therapy will assess residents regarding safety measures.Resources
We do have PT/OT Therapist in our building, we also have outside vendors (Hospice, therapy) that will come in, meet with families /residents to determine if they are in need of extra service.Transportation
We do not offer transportation for our residents, we will help/assist them arrange transportation. Families will usually attend doctor’s appointments with their loved ones.Dining
Our Dietary Department offers and provides 3 meals a day, each resident is given a weekly menu. Please know that residents are allowed to have food in their apartments if they do not wish to attend a dining room for their meal.Complaints

Cost of Living in our Community would depend on the efficiency they are interested in living. We have studio’s, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom with a den.Communication with Family Members
We have an open door policy here at The Commons, “Communication is key” and very well practiced here at The Commons. If an issue arrives, again this is addressed immediately. We will communicate, in person, by phone and email, whichever is easiest for families.Respite and Bring to Home
These type of services are considered “Short Term” the cost is $225.00/daily.Pets
We encourage pets to come in and visit, our residents love to see them come in. We ask for a copy of their shot record before they come in.Covid/Flu
Yes, we have these services in our building, which is set up/arranged with our pharmacy.Aging in Place

As far as a “waitlist” we always work things out to make sure that all residents, current and incoming are happy.Nursing
We offer 24/7 nursing services. Our nurses can also provide medication administration to residents in need. Nurses and aides will assist with daily routines and activities.

We have a very active Activities Department that offers:

- Card night/casino night
- And many more activities
Every fall we have a “Fall Ball,” and every spring we have a “Spring Fling” for our residents, which they truly love and appreciate.
