Overview of Our Professional Staff and Training
Our team comprises a diverse range of professionals dedicated to the care and well-being of our residents. At the helm is our Director of Clinical Services, an RN/BSN, overseen by an Executive Director with an operator's license. Our Medical Director, Dr. McCue, leads a team of PAs. Supporting the medical team are CMA's, CNA's, and LPN's. Beyond medical care, we have housekeepers, maintenance workers, and dietary professionals. All staff undergo rigorous training for their licensing and receive continuous training from their first day, covering general, state, and federal guidelines, monitored by our human resources team.
Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we employ several measures including keypads on all exits, surveillance cameras in halls and lobbies, and 24/7 staff presence. Our medical team, including CMA's, CNA's, LPN's, RN, and Dr. McCue, are always on premise, continuously trained in safety protocols.
Support Services for New Residents
New residents are welcomed by the President of our Resident Council, who acts as a "buddy" to help them transition into their new home. Our staff is extra attentive during the initial weeks, offering escorts to activities and meals. New residents receive a monthly activity calendar, a list of inclusions, a restaurant-style menu, beauty/barber shop pricing, and a welcome basket. Companion services are available for an additional fee.
Transportation Services
Transportation services are included in the monthly rent, allowing up to 4 trips per month per resident. Additional transportation needs can be accommodated for an extra fee.
Dining Experience
We offer two dining areas with identical menus, including a planned monthly menu and a restaurant-style menu. Residents can choose from either menu at any meal without affecting their bill. Three meals a day and snacks are included.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Complaints and concerns are addressed by our Director of Clinical Services and/or our Executive Director. Residents and family members can voice complaints directly or through formal complaint forms for tracking. Unresolved issues can be escalated to our corporate offices or legal counsel.
Communication with Residents' Families
Families can inquire about their loved ones' well-being anytime. Information is shared with those documented as authorized. Our Director of Clinical Services maintains regular communication with families regarding health changes.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Currently, we do not offer short-term or respite stays.
Pet Policy
Pets are welcome to visit but cannot stay overnight.
Vaccination Services
While we have offered Covid vaccinations in the past, their future availability is uncertain. We provide flu vaccinations annually.
Aging in Place
We are committed to allowing residents to age in place without adjusting costs based on the level of care. We have a waiting list for studio and two-bedroom apartments, with a one-bedroom apartment currently being updated and potentially available for rent.
