Our Staff and Training
Our staff is composed of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, CMAs, licensed social workers, a dietician, and a wide range of various other backgrounds. The staff go through training to get their licenses and then while here they are required to take various courses to maintain their license.Safety and Well-being Measures
The measures depend on what you are looking for with safety and well-being. Those are both always a priority to us. For safety, we have a variety of systems in place to ensure residents are protected from others as well as themselves. As for their well-being, we take our person-centered care approach seriously and always try to keep residents happy and find ways to work with families to accommodate many different needs.Welcome and Additional Services
Often our activities, social workers, and nursing staff provide a warm welcome to new residents. We also have a chaplain for a more spiritual side of things if that is something a new resident is interested in. Other than that, there is no specific service.Transportation
Yes, transportation is available for any medical needs. We are unfortunately not able to accommodate any transportation for leisure activities.Dining Experience
The dining experience is based on meal preferences and dietary restrictions. In long-term care, we have courts (16 people) that all eat together. In assisted living, we have a common dining area where the residents eat. There are 3 meals provided with lunch and dinner having their own main course. If the resident does not want the main meal, there is an a la carte option where the resident has some other choices.Complaints and Communication
If the resident has a complaint or issue they wish to address, they may voice their concern to any staff member or we have a form that may be completed and left for our administrator to address. Administrative staff have an open door policy for the residents. Communication with resident's families is key to their care. Often the families will have cell phone numbers to the nursing staff that are on shift for the day and can call or text anytime. Should there be an emergency situation, our staff will notify whoever the emergency contact is to make any necessary decisions in care. There are care plan meetings for the residents every quarter that are required but if there are concerns or issues, those care plans can happen at any time.Short-term or Respite Stays
We do offer short-term or respite stays. The cost is based on the room type. If it is respite in assisted living, we have a minimum of 30 days for a respite. In long-term care, a respite can be as short as 5-7 days.Pet Policies
Our assisted living and Independent living areas are pet-friendly. Unfortunately, our long-term care is not pet-friendly. However, pets are allowed to visit.Vaccinations
Residents are able to get several vaccines here, including Covid, Flu, Pneumococcal, RSV, and shingles.Aging in Place and Wait List
We do try to age in place in our assisted living and independent living. There are times that it is not feasible to do that, but we try to exhaust all options before any moves are needed. There is a wait list; if you want to fill out the applications, I can add your family member. For pricing & availability call (866) 204-9238
