Our Commitment to Excellence in Senior Care
All of our certified caregivers and med techs are licensed, we conduct background checks on all employees, and they must have Dept of Arizona public safety Level one Fingerprint Clearance Card. Our Wellness director is a Licensed nurse with many years of experience in Senior care. Many of our staff have many years of experience in senior services and all have the appropriate licensures. Including myself, I have been honored to serve seniors for over 15 years in social services, case management, and marketing/admissions.
Assisted Living Amenities and Safety Measures
All of the assisted living residents have pendants to call the 24/7 staff. We provide CPR training to ALL staff even though it is not required for all staff, along with other trainings. We have a compliance officer and comply with all State and our corporation guidelines, and conduct routine checks to monitor compliance. We have a nice variety of activities and scheduled outings, and monthly town hall meetings to discuss ideas, changes, and concerns. We are gated and have security cameras along with 24/7 staff.
Supportive Community and Transition Assistance
I and the team assist with the transition along with our resident ambassadors to help with the transition. I am happy to report that all of the resident and their families that I have moved in are generally very happy here, it is a friendly caring community.
Convenient Transportation Services
Yes, we offer transportation to Doctors appointments within a 10 mile radius and have regularly scheduled transportation to stores.
Exceptional Dining Experience
Our dining room is large, beautiful, and has a fireplace. Meals are restaurant style with an excellent variety of choices, we use real linens and I enjoy the 2 homemade soups that they offer for lunch and dinner.
Continuous Improvement and Open Communication
I want to talk with my team to make sure I'm accurate in answering the rest of your questions, but I hope this helps. As I stated, I have been in this industry for quite some time, and I am proud of what we offer and that we are always looking to make improvements to provide you with excellence in your care.
Addressing Concerns and Complaints
If a resident has a complaint, they should start with directing the concern to the supervisor of that department. For example, if there was a concern with a caregiver, you would talk with the assisted living resident care coordinator. If you still felt the issue wasn't addressed, you would then speak to the director of wellness. If you still have concerns, you could then bring your concern to our executive director. We do have some availability.

Our residents here at Ventana Winds are enjoying a greater sense of freedom than they could ever have imagined: freedom from housekeeping, maintenance, utilities, and paying property taxes. Our residents also enjoy meeting new people with common life experiences and making new friends! For many, this results in an increase in social activity and interaction with other residents.
Exceptional Amenities and Services
Our rates include a chef-prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner in our dining room. Housekeeping services are provided with a daily tidying up of their apartment and a weekly deep clean, along with personal and linen laundry. Basic cable (72 channels) is included, as are all utilities except telephone. A fun-filled, busy activity program is offered, affording the opportunity to learn new activities or to continue long-term interests. Also, the convenience of our 24-hour Caregivers staff, along with a Licensed nurse, Med-Tech, and a Call Pendant. We offer scheduled transportation, including to and from medical appointments, shopping, and activities in the area up to 10 miles.
Supporting Independence and Providing Care
At Ventana Winds, we help people maintain their independence. For those that need a little extra help with their daily living activities, we have Al a Carte Services that can be added based on care and health needs. If a higher level of care does become necessary, our residents enjoy a smooth transition into our secured Serenity Wing (Memory Care).
