At University Village, we pride ourselves on the diverse range of professionals on our staff and the comprehensive training they undergo. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and service to our residents.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We implement rigorous measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. These include regular safety drills, 24/7 on-site security, and health monitoring protocols to provide a secure and comfortable environment for everyone in our community.

Transition Support Services

To aid residents' transition into our community, we offer an orientation meeting for our Assisted Living Residents and a meeting with our Resident Services manager. Additionally, we collect special interests paperwork prior to moving in to introduce new residents to activities and fellow residents with similar interests.

Transportation Services

University Village provides scheduled transportation to doctor’s appointments and weekly trips to various locations such as Kohls and Walmart, ensuring our residents have access to essential services and recreational shopping.

Dining Experience

Our dining experience includes three meals a day, seven days a week, with a hot grill available from 11 to 3 for those who desire an alternative to our expansive lunch bar. Meals are served through a lunch line, and a server will assist in serving you at your table, ensuring a pleasant dining experience with table service.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Residents can submit written requests or consult the Resident Advisory Committee to address complaints or issues. The Resident Services Supervisor is also available for residents to express their concerns directly.

Cost of Living

The cost of living in our community varies, encompassing options from Cottages, to Independent Living Apartments, to Assisted Living facilities, catering to a range of needs and preferences.

Communication with Residents' Families

Our nursing staff and Resident Services maintain communication with residents' families and Powers of Attorney as necessary, ensuring they are kept informed about their loved ones' well-being.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We offer respite stays in our Health Center, with costs varying depending on the type of room. This provides flexibility for both residents and their families.

Pet-Friendly Community

University Village is a pet-friendly community, with the requirement that residents must be able to manage their pets' needs, such as toileting and litter box maintenance.

Waitlist Information

We currently have a waitlist for certain floorplans, reflecting the high demand for our living options.

Vaccination Services

Residents have access to Covid and flu vaccinations within the community, scheduled and administered in-house for convenience and safety.

Aging in Place

Our community supports aging in place with our Long Term Care facility. While we do not have a locked memory care unit, we currently offer Studio Apartments and have a waitlist for our larger units, accommodating various stages of aging.
