Community Details

Community Details

This detailed information was received through an email from the Trinity View Marketing at Trinity View via email on 2024-02-03.

1. Leadership and Staff Qualifications

Currently, we have an executive director who is a social worker and has been an administrator for over 10 years, working in independent, assisted, and skilled communities. Additionally, our staff have med-tech and CNA certification and have been in the field for a number of years. A number of staff have been with the community for over 10 years or more.

2. Safety and Security Measures

Each room has a pull cord in the bathrooms and in our main dining room. The assisted living rooms have call bells in the room as well as pull cords. Our second and third shift security checks throughout the community every 2 hours throughout their shifts. We also have a ring check system that is put in place for staffing purposes as well as residents.

3. Resident Integration

Once a resident moves in, we have a hospitality committee that assists them in getting acquainted as well as staff support.

4. Transportation and Activities

We provide transportation to local doctor's offices throughout Asheville and Hendersonville area. We also provide scheduled activities throughout the month which can consist of movie theatres, music concerts, shopping trips, educational field trips, etc.

5. Dining Experience

Our dining is a 5-week menu plan rotating week by week. Residents get a choice of 2 main courses with a selection of sides. They can also choose to have soup and salad and dessert. We also provide alternative choices such as a veggie burger, salmon, and chicken. The community also has a food committee that helps with suggestions.

6. Addressing Concerns and Complaints

Concerns or complaints are turned into the executive director who addresses those issues. The director usually meets with the individual or department head to discuss the complaint or issue. The community also has a resident council who takes the complaints and meets directly with the executive director on a monthly basis. Additional town hall meetings are held throughout the year.

7. Family Communication

Communicating with the families is important. We have emergency numbers and emails to address concerns, etc. The staff are good about communicating with the families.

8. Wait List Policy

We do have a wait list but there is no fee for being on that list. When an apartment comes available that the individual has requested, they are contacted about that apartment availability. If the individual is not ready, we proceed to the next individual on the list.

9. Respite Care

We do have respite care in our assisted living if there is a room available. The respite stay requires a 3-week stay.

10. Pet Policy

Our community is also pet friendly with a one-time fee of $500.00 per pet; limit of 2. Our assisted living does not allow pets.

11. Health Clinics

Yearly, we have a flu clinic and a COVID clinic when those are available through a local pharmacy.

12. Community Structure

Our community is independent living with an assisted living community under one building. We have a sister facility that is a memory care and a rehab community that we work closely with during those times.

I hope I have answered your questions and additional information can be found in the packet that I have attached. Please feel free to contact me via email at JForrester@trinityview.net or by calling 828-687-0068 if you have any further questions.
