I would be more than happy to answer your questions. I have put your questions below and I will answer each one. I have also attached some community information for you to look over. Could you provide an overview on the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have Nurses, Med Techs, and CNAs on our Care Staff here at Trinity Springs. Every employee, regardless of their position, has Monthly training classes assigned to them in a multitude of areas. All staff within the community are highly encouraged to be CPR certified as well.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
This is such a wide-ranged question. There are so many ways to keep residents safe. Is there something specific you are referring to? The resident can lock their apartment door anytime if they wish, We have staff in the community 24 hours a day, We do not allow UPS and FEDex etc. delivery drivers to pass the front lobby – we intercept packages and ensure the resident gets them. All guests into the community are asked to enter through the front door and sign in as to who they are and why they are there.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We work with moving companies that we recommend that can help in the home – packing, moving, and setting up the apartment. We have a Move-In Coordinator who works here with me to assist with paperwork and getting the move scheduled and completed. Residents have created a Move-In committee to assist the resident with the transition once they are here.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, we have a bus and a van.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Please see attached menus. We have full-service dining for all residents. This is included in their rent of the apartment. They can come to the dining room and order food anytime during the day. There is a multitude of items available to them. They can call in their order and stop down to the Take Out window and take their meal to go if they would prefer. If they are not feeling well, we can deliver food to the room.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
We encourage the resident to speak to the manager or supervisor in that department to try to rectify the concern first. If they have not had resolution or the concern persists, we have a grievance form located at the concierge desk they can complete and that will go to our Executive Director, Tracy Gawler, to handle.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Our residents are adults and unless a family member has Power of Attorney we cannot share information with anyone. With that being said, if the resident has given permission or if the family member is POA, you can call in anytime to check in on your loved one. We have Nursing Staff 24 hours a day that can be reached. If there is an urgent matter that comes up; we will have a phone call out to the family (POA) right away.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer Respite as our community stays full with a waiting list.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes, we are.
Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Yes, we do.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We are no longer offering Covid vaccinations in-house. Flu vaccination clinics happen once a year.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, we can partner up with Hospice Services if needed and their license partnered with our license allows residents to age in place.
