Could you share pricing and any other general information?
Price list is attached.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have Care Staff and Nurses. Some care staff have gone to school and are licensed by the state and others have been trained by our staff. Nurses have gone to school and are either an LPN or a RN. They are licensed by the state.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have a push button/pull cord call system in the apartments, we have a nurse in the community 24/7, we have cameras throughout the community, our entrance doors are locked during evening/night hours and on weekends. We have a wellness room where our partner, UT Home Health can provide physical therapy for the residents or resident may select a different home health to come in. Some of our residents may use a hospice service.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Our entire staff will help make the transition easier for the new resident. Our activity coordinators will be a big part of welcoming and engaging the new resident. The President of our Resident Council will also help out.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We offer transportation within the Knoxville area on Tuesdays and Thursdays and must be scheduled with our driver.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
We offer a restaurant style dining experience.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Any complaints should be brought to our Executive Director, Holly Smarr, and she will address the complaint.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We communicate with phone calls from our Resident Care Director to the family and/or by email. There may be meetings in person or zoom.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
