Overview of Staff and Training
Our staff consists of a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) who moves between Traditions I and II, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at each community, and floor staff under the supervision of the LPN at each community. The floor staff undergo delegations for care and medication administration, with a designated medication passer on each floor staff shift.Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, all assisted living residents receive a pendant to push in case of emergency. In our memory care units, we use a combination of pendants and hourly checks by staff.Support Services for Transition
We provide the Senior Linkage Line to all residents and/or their powers of attorney upon deposit for moving in. Residents on county assistance have case workers to help transition into the community.Transportation Services
We offer the AM Van service to transport Assisted Living residents to appointments at Mayo Clinic. Additionally, there is a SMART BUS service that AL residents can use to visit commercial businesses like HY VEE, Target, and Walmart. Memory care residents need to be accompanied by their POA or designated family/friends when leaving the community.Dining Experience
We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Breakfast always includes a hot option as well as lighter choices like cereal, toast, yogurt, and fruit. Lunch and dinner feature a designated entrée with additional options such as soup, salad, sandwich, or baked potato.Resident Complaints and Issues
We hold monthly resident council meetings led by our activities team to address complaints. Additionally, we have complaint/improvement boxes at each community for residents to use.Communication with Families
Any nursing, care, or urgent changes are communicated directly to the power of attorney (POA) on file if the resident has one designated. Having a POA is required in Memory Care.Pet Policy
We are a pet-friendly community, allowing residents to have cats and small dogs under 20 pounds, provided they sign a pet agreement ensuring they can care for the animals. Visiting animals, usually dogs, are also allowed.Waitlist Status
Currently, we do not have a waitlist and have a few vacant apartments in both assisted living and memory care.Vaccinations
Yes, residents are able to receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.Aging in Place
We offer a hospice partnership for end-of-life care, allowing residents to age in place within the community. For pricing & availability call (866) 204-9238
