Overview of Professionals and Training
Touchmark is renowned for our hospitality services, with over 300 residents and 260 staff members. Our Assisted Living neighborhoods are staffed by licensed, certified, and trained care staff managers, including 2 RNs, 3 LPNs, 3 Resident Care Managers (RCMs), Med-Aids, and CNAs. The number of Med-Aids and CNAs per shift varies based on the residents' care needs. We also offer Home Care and Home Health services with certified and licensed professionals, as well as a Health & Fitness Club staffed by certified trainers.
Safety Measures
Touchmark ensures the safety and well-being of our residents through daily door-to-door and personal safety checks, emergency pull-cords in every home, optional resident safety pendants with GPS, 24/7 receptionist services, gated community entrances, private and Ring security cameras, and routine security walks by our Building Services team.
Transition Support Services
We provide various resources for families transitioning into our community, including referrals to professional groups such as Realtors, Movers, Downsizers, Estate Attorneys, and Financial Planners.
Transportation Services
Touchmark offers transportation to shopping and appointments within Clark County, WA, with a fleet of vehicles including cars, minivans, and buses.
Dining Experience
Independent Living (IL) residents receive a $650 monthly dining credit, usable at Charlie’s Café, the Open-bar Fireside room, and the Courtside Restaurant. Assisted Living (AL) residents receive three meals plus a snack daily, with additional access to café and bar services. All residents enjoy a variety of menu options.
Resident Complaints and Issues
Residents can address complaints or issues directly to our Executive Director, Resident Services Manager, Resident Care Manager, or Building Services Manager. We value feedback as an opportunity for improvement.
Communication with Families
Touchmark keeps families informed through quarterly newsletters, monthly/weekly activity calendars, daily team meetings, and the AVM notification software system for mass notifications and emergency information.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer respite stays for up to 30 days, including rent and a care plan. Costs vary based on home type, care level, and furnishings.
Pet-Friendly Community
Touchmark allows up to two pets per home, under 40 lbs. and current on vaccinations, provided the resident can manage their daily care needs.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
While we provided onsite Covid vaccinations during the pandemic, we currently do not. Residents must schedule their own Covid vaccination appointments offsite. We do offer onsite flu vaccinations periodically.
Aging in Place
Touchmark supports residents in aging in place through a continuum of services, including independent living, assisted living, Enhanced Assisted Living, and Memory Care, along with Health and Wellness support services.
