Community Details
This detailed information was received through an email from the Family Advocate at Tiffany Court At Kingston via email on 2023-11-14.
Overview of Staff and Training
Our community has a lot of professionals involved in creating a safe and lively home for our residents. We have LPNs, licensed medicine technicians and RSA’s. We also have a nurse for our nursing director and executive director. Our memory care director is licensed in order to provide the best Montessori programing we can for our loved one’s going through Alzheimer’s or dementia. To keep nutrient and hydration well established we have a certified Dietary Director. In addition, we have speech, occupational, and physical therapist to aide in our in-house rehab programs. And if a resident has a skilled nursing need we have an RN on our in-house home health team.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Every single one of resident’s safety and well-being matters. We create individual care plans before the arrival of our residents. And we re-evaluate these care plans within 30 days of occupancy to make sure we accurately reflected on his/her current needs. Some residents need frequent checks, someone standing outside of the shower, and more. We have levels of care. We base our staffing off of these levels of care to ensure those who ring always have prompt response times.
Resources and Support for Transition
Our LifeStyle 360 director does a one on one with new admissions. We try to get to know who they were, who they are, and how we could best engage them. And we make it a mission to help residents acclimate by 30 days. If a memory care resident is moving in we also have a move in packet for the family to communicate to us their likes, wants, wishes, what they used to do, how they like to dress, and more. This also us to try to re-engage them in past activities and respectfully let them live their lives with us.
Transportation Services
Yes, within 15 miles of the community.
Dining Experience
Our dining experience is WONDERFUL! We have worked diligently with our residents at perfecting it. We have two different seatings every meal. We have waiters and waitresses! It is restaurant style. You have a menu with changing options and soup of the day! And we make everything from scratch. All food is fresh and never frozen!
Resident Complaints and Issues
We have a proper grievance process so residents issues are resolved. We also have monthly resident council meetings where residents get to meet with every department manager and place complaints and hear our resolutions.
Cost of Living
Cost varies. We have different living accommodations. Companion rooms average $3000-3500 a month and private rooms are from $4000 to $5500 a month. There is a med management fee and level of care fee. We base staffing off levels of care. We want residents to age in place with us. So we will do what we can so this is your last move. We do have a community fee of $4000 for entrance.
Communication with Resident's Families
I am not fully aware here. This communication is handled by our nursing director, memory care director, activities director, and our home health RN.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do offer respites. But respites usually cost 5-10% more a month because there is no security deposit/community entrance fee.
Pet-Friendly Community
We are pet friendly. It is a one-time $500 deposit.
Waitlist Information
We do have a waiting list but things can change every day.
