Overview on Types of Professionals and Their Training
Our care staff undergoes several trainings and certifications to ensure that our residents receive the most up-to-date care and dedicated service they deserve. Our staff is certified with the Community Based Residential Facility certification training, Dementia and Alzheimer’s training for memory care, and we require monthly course trainings relevant to our community. We have an in-depth interview process to ensure dedicated and passionate care staff that can provide custom care to each resident. Besides, we have physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and physical therapists available for all questions. We pride ourselves on our long-term staff, with some members serving for 7 years and counting!Safety and Well-being Measures for Residents
We have resident-tailored care plans and safety measures to ensure well-being. Our staff provides support based on the level of care determined by the nurse. We also have a call light system with two styles: a handheld device placed by the bed or recliner, and a pendant style worn as a necklace.Support for Residents' Transition into the Community
We provide diverse activities to encourage socialization for our new residents. Our activities director schedules one-on-one meetings to get to know new residents' hobbies and interests to tailor daily activities to their liking.Transportation Services
We offer transportation to all appointments using K-Town services. Private payments involve an additional charge. Community Care plan or Title 19 payments for transportation will be processed through their respective programs. We also have a wheelchair-accessible bus for events and outings organized by the activities director.Dining Experience
Our dining experience encourages socialization with a public dining room on our main floor that has a diner feel. We provide tray service for those not feeling up to going to the public dining room. Our chef provides a delicious weekly menu, and staff often hope for leftovers to enjoy.Handling Complaints or Issues
We have a complaint process addressed through management. Each floor has a form for written complaints, which are taken seriously by management. Solutions are goal-oriented and may reach corporate levels or arbitration if necessary.Communication with Resident Families
We have great communication with residents' families. Our executive director, nurse, and care staff stay in touch through a secure chat system for real-time updates. For emergencies, our nursing staff or executive director contacts the family directly. We also provide notifications for events and a weekly newsletter.Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term and respite stays for up to 28 days, with costs determined by level of care. Assisted Living respite stays are $200 per day, and Memory Care respite stays are $250 per day, including personalized care plans, medication management, meals, laundry, housekeeping, and daily activities.Pet Policy
We do not allow residents to keep pets but permit pet visits with proper documentation.Availability and Waitlist
We have a waitlist for Community Care and Title 19 payments. One private room is available for private pay in assisted living/memory care, and one independent assisted living room is available for minimal care residents.Vaccination Services
We collaborate with local pharmacies to provide Covid and flu vaccinations, dependent on resident insurance.Aging in Place
Our goal is to make residents feel at home and provide lifelong support. We reassess care as necessary and refer to higher-level care facilities if needed.I know that finding the right accommodations involves a lot. Please reach out via call or email with any questions. I am always happy to help.
If you align with our facility's goals, I would love to invite you for a tour. We hold tours on weekdays at 11 AM or 3:30 PM.
