Aviva Woodlands Assisted Living is a senior living community located in Lincoln, offering both assisted living and memory care services to its residents. The community provides a nurturing environment designed to support the needs of those who require assistance with daily activities or those living with memory impairments.

Accommodations and Availability

The community features various apartment styles to cater to the preferences and requirements of its residents. While there may be a waitlist for certain apartment styles in the assisted living section, the memory care unit currently has two openings available.

Care Services

Aviva Woodlands provides comprehensive care services, including a nurse practitioner who visits the facility every Tuesday. Residents can also benefit from five included medical transportations each month for their appointments.

Respite Care and Aging in Place

For those in need of short-term stays, respite care is available, contingent upon the availability of open apartments. Additionally, the community supports aging in place, allowing residents to remain in the community as their care needs evolve over time.

Pet Policy

Understanding the importance of companionship, Aviva Woodlands allows residents to have cats as pets within the facility.

Moving Assistance

While the community does not provide moving services directly, they offer referrals to reputable moving companies to assist residents with the transition into the community.

Transportation Services

Transportation for medical purposes is available to residents, with five trips included each month to ensure they can attend their healthcare appointments.

Dining Experience

Residents can enjoy a restaurant-style dining experience with a wide-ranging menu. Meal times are scheduled with breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 AM, lunch from noon to 1:30 PM, and dinner from 5 to 6:30 PM. The dining services are overseen by a dining director and a sous chef, supported by a team of skilled line cooks.

Safety and Security

The safety of residents is a top priority at Aviva Woodlands. The community provides pendants that can be worn as a necklace or bracelet, and each apartment is equipped with a pull cord in the bathroom for emergencies.

Health Services

COVID and flu vaccinations are available on-site for residents to ensure their health and well-being are maintained.

Resident Concerns and Complaints

Residents and their families can voice concerns or complaints through a Dropbox system or directly to the executive director, who maintains an open-door policy. Issues are addressed promptly and with care.

Communication with Families

The community keeps families informed through a monthly email newsletter and utilizes LifeLoop, a platform designed to enhance communication and engagement between residents, families, and the community staff.
