Pricing for Assisted Living

All of our apartments are one-bedroom apartments. We have seven different apartment styles to choose from. Our pricing starts at $57.15 per month. That does include the first level of care. An assessment with your client is needed to determine what level of care would be needed.

The Windsor Vocalo is a senior living community that offers assisted living and memory care services. It is designed to cater to the needs of seniors who require assistance with daily activities or those who are living with memory-related conditions.

Waitlist and Respite Care

The community currently has a waitlist for its assisted living services. For those in need of short-term stays, Windsor Vocalo offers respite care with a minimum duration of 30 days.

Accommodations

All living spaces within the community are one-bedroom apartments, with seven different styles available to choose from. Each apartment is designed to provide comfort and convenience to its residents.

Pet Policy

Windsor Vocalo is pet-friendly, allowing residents to bring their cats and dogs, provided the dogs weigh under 25 pounds.

Transportation Services

The community provides transportation services for its residents. On Mondays, trips are organized to local stores such as Publix, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, and CVS. Additionally, scheduled appointments are facilitated from Tuesday through Thursday.

Dining Experience

Residents can enjoy restaurant-style dining within the community, offering a pleasant and social mealtime experience.

Staffing and Healthcare

Windsor Vocalo employs a healthcare director who is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), along with several other LPNs, medication technicians, and resident assistants. Nursing staff is available within the community 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Although there may be occasional exceptions due to unforeseen circumstances, the community strives to maintain constant nursing presence.

Additionally, a physician, Dr. Perez, makes rounds in the community, and other nurse practitioners are available as well. Services such as podiatry and dermatology are also offered on-site.

Safety Measures

For safety, the apartments are equipped with pull cords in the living room, bedroom, and restroom. When a resident pulls the cord, it directly alerts the nurse's telephone, allowing for immediate communication and assistance.

Handling Complaints

The residence director, Kristen, maintains an open-door policy for addressing any issues or complaints. She is also reachable by her cell phone when not present in the community.

Communication with Families

The community keeps families informed through various channels, including a website, a newsletter, and email communications. They have also introduced Life Loop, a platform primarily focused on activities and transportation schedules, which also allows for messaging between family members and nursing staff. The community emphasizes proactive communication, especially when there are changes in a resident's condition, to ensure families are well-informed and involved in care planning.
