The Wellington: A Continuum of Care Community
The Wellington is a continuum of care community. Meaning we have multiple different stages of living. We offer Independent Living, which is like a 55+ apartment with a few services provided i.e.: Meals, Housekeeping, Transportation, etc.
Independent Living
Our Independent Living option is designed for those who are looking for a community that provides the freedom of a private apartment with the convenience of additional services. These services include meals, housekeeping, and transportation, catering to the needs of individuals who are 55 years and older.
Assisted Living
Assisted Living at The Wellington offers all the same spaces and amenities as Independent Living, but with the added benefit of having nurses available 24/7. Our nursing staff is ready to assist with both basic and advanced needs, ensuring residents receive the care and support they require at any time of the day or night.
Memory Care
Lastly, we also offer Memory Care services for those who may need additional structure with their day in dealing with Alzheimer's or Dementia. Our Memory Care program is designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment for individuals with memory impairments, offering specialized care and activities tailored to their unique needs.

Availability and Accommodations
The senior living community is currently fully booked for two-bedroom and one-bedroom apartments, with a waitlist in place for these options. However, there are a few studio apartments available for those seeking immediate accommodation.
Respite Care
Respite care services are offered, with the cost being a 20% increase on the standard rate. The community is open to working out other plans depending on individual situations.
Pet Policy
Pets are welcome in the facility, with the exception of larger dogs, which are typically avoided.
Moving Assistance
The community has recommendations for staff or moving companies to assist residents with the moving-in process.
Transportation Services
Transportation for residents is available, with once-a-week trips included and free. Additional transportation needs are charged at a dollar per mile, requiring at least 48 hours' notice.
Dining Experience
Residents enjoy three meals a day from an on-site restaurant, with fresh food prepared daily. Servers take orders in a dining area open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., without set dining hours.
Staff and Care
The staff includes nurses, nurse practitioners, a director of nursing, an executive director, care partners, med techs, and other necessary personnel to provide comprehensive care and support.

Foresight Technology is used in the apartments for resident safety. The community is an RSV2 community, meaning it can handle all but six or seven specific health-related issues in-house.
Addressing Resident Complaints
Residents can voice complaints directly to any member of the leadership team or staff. The community also recommends utilizing the Ombudsman as a resource for resolving issues.
Communication with Families
Communication with resident families is conducted through phone calls, emails, in-person meetings, and Zoom calls, depending on what suits each family best. There are no specific apps or platforms used for communication beyond these methods.
