Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We currently have a waitlist for certain floorplans. At this time, we have a 2 bedroom, 1 ½ bathroom apartment - Seven Falls floorplan, a one bedroom - Marana Sky Floorplan and a studio - Tumamoc Floorplan, available.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Our 24/7 caregivers are all certified caregivers. We also have a full time RN, and a full time LPN, and a Program Director that oversees all of our Health and Wellness Team. All Health and Wellness team members have continuing education requirements that keep them up to date on their certifications and licenses.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
Our certified caregivers are here to help residents with Activities of Daily Living and to answer calls through our Personal Resident Call System. We conduct preventative health screenings for all residents. We also adhere to all State and County health requirements with regards to Covid treatment and prevention.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We have an Ambassador group to help new residents meet current residents and learn about activities and events. We also host a monthly new resident luncheon at which all new residents can be introduced to one another. We have on staff a Move-In Coordinator that meets with new residents on their first day to share all important safety information about the community and to help familiarize them with the community layout, as well as all features of their apartment.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We provided scheduled transportation for our residents. Our transportation has dedicated Doctor Visit days on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Transportation to doctors’ appointments is included, within a 15 mile radius of the community. We have shopping days on Tuesday mornings, and offer scenic drives every other week on Thursdays. We also currently provide transportation to 3 churches on Sunday.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
We provide our residents with 3 meals daily, in our restaurant style dining room. All meals are made to order and served to our residents by our delightful dining associates. Daily specials and everyday menu items are available for the residents to choose from, and guests are welcome. We do request reservations for guests.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
Our community hosts a monthly town hall meeting were residents can speak directly to our Executive Director, Gary Hughes. We also have an open door policy where residents are welcomed into our offices to discuss any issues or complaints.
What is the cost of living in your community?
Our costs vary, depending on the Floorplan chosen and care needed. I will include a fee schedule with starting prices.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Our families are able to reach out to our Nurses, Program Director or Executive Director to inquire about their loved ones. From time to time, we will email updates on new residents so their families can see how they are getting along in their home.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer respite nor short term stays. We are a month to month community.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
We are a pet friendly community, and we charge a one time, $450.00 pet fee at move-in.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We conduct annual flu clinics in the community and when a new Covid vaccine or updated Covid vaccine is needed, we will provide those clinics, if possible.
Are residents able to age in place?
It is always our goal for residents to age in place. We are not considered a medical facility, so there are limitations. We are not able to administer IV fluids, nor are we able to meet the needs of someone with a feeding tube. These are just two examples of things that might require a resident to seek skilled nursing at a facility. However, we work with Hospice agencies for those residents that need palliative or end of life care.
