Overview of Staff and Training
Our staff boasts over 60 years of combined experience in the senior living industry, ensuring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in providing exceptional care. Our team includes a diverse range of professionals, each dedicated to the well-being of our residents. To maintain the highest standards of care, we conduct ongoing monthly in-services and department-specific training. These training sessions are designed to keep our staff updated on the latest best practices and innovations in senior care. Additionally, our resident programs are developed in collaboration with Sonida Senior Living, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of our community. This comprehensive approach to training and professional development ensures that our staff is well-equipped to provide compassionate, high-quality care to all our residents.Safety and Well-Being of Residents
As a company, we are committed to providing quality senior housing and services at an affordable price point. More than that, we strive to improve quality of life for the seniors we serve. The health and well-being of our residents is always at the forefront. As an independent living community, our staff does not directly provide personal care services, but we coordinate supplemental services to help ensure their needs are being met.Resources and Support for Resident Transition
We have a signature program designed specifically for this, called CareConnect. For many of the residents and families we serve, the decision to leave their homes and move into community living is a challenging one. This transition involves a significant lifestyle change for the new resident, further complicated by the loss of familiar surroundings. It is crucial that we acknowledge the importance of this change and do everything we can to ensure a smooth transition into our community. We believe that for long-term residency to be successful, it is essential to highlight the positive aspects of this change by being both sensitive and proactive to the individual needs of our residents. This program is about more than just ticking off a checklist; it is about connecting with our residents and their families.Complaint or Issue Resolution Process
Suggestions are welcomed if you have ideas or concerns that need to be addressed. These should be discussed with our Executive Director.Cost of Living in the Community
Our rates start at $2,395 and we have multiple floor plans to choose from.Communication with Resident's Families
As an independent living community, most of our communications are directly with our residents. If there is ever an emergency or situation deemed urgent, we would contact persons listed on the emergency contact list that is completed by the resident at the time of admission.Short-Term or Respite Stays
Temporary stay is offered when an apartment is available. Rates for temporary stay start at $130.00 per night.Pet-Friendly Policy
Absolutely! Several of our current residents have “fur-babies.” By having a pet-friendly environment, our community can create a more inclusive and supportive atmosphere that caters to the emotional, physical, and social needs of our residents.Waitlist Status
We do have apartments available, but we also have resident prospects on our priority reservation list. A refundable deposit of $500 is made when a specific floor plan or apartment location is preferred but not immediately available. This gives those prospects first right of refusal when it becomes available.Vaccination Availability
Yes, we have a flu shot clinic scheduled in October. Other vaccinations will be available upon request, i.e., Covid, Pneumonia, Shingles.Aging in Place
Each situation must be looked at individually, but ideally, yes, they are able to age in place. Aging in place can lead to better health outcomes. Seniors are less likely to experience the stress and disorientation that can come with moving to a new environment. Additionally, they can maintain their routines and activities, which can contribute to physical and mental health. As mentioned previously, being an independent living community, our staff does not provide direct personal care or medical support to our residents. When these services are needed, third party providers can come into the community to provide residents with the specific care needs they require. We want residents to be safe, comfortable, and well taken care of. As long as their specific care needs can be met, we want them to remain here in the community they have come to know as home. For pricing & availability call (866) 204-9238
