Types of Professionals and Training

Our staff consists of trained professionals who undergo specialized 8-hour Dementia training. In addition to this, they participate in ongoing training through our company-specific Magnolia Trails training program.

Resident Safety and Well-being

As a secured memory care-only community, we have several safety measures in place. Every courtyard is equipped with a coded secure entry/exit gate. Residents have emergency pull cords in each room and bathroom. Resident checks are conducted every two hours to ensure their safety and well-being.

Support Services for Transition

We offer the Care Connect program to aid in the successful and comfortable transition of new residents. A community representative is assigned to new residents and their families to provide personalized attention during the move-in and acclimation period.

Transportation Services

We provide transportation services for residents within 10 miles of the community at no charge.

Dining Experience

Meals are prepared in our main kitchen and served family style in the cottages. If a resident doesn't prefer the meal selection, alternative options are available.

Addressing Complaints or Issues

Grievance forms are available in all cottages for residents or their families. Additionally, appointments can be scheduled with nursing or community directors to address any concerns.

Communication with Resident Families

We maintain an open-door policy. Nursing staff will inform the designated emergency contact of any clinical needs. Our community main number can be called anytime to speak with care staff in your loved one's cottage.

Short-term or Respite Stays

Respite stays are available for a minimum of 5 days at a rate of $250 per day.

Pet Policy

While residents may not have pets in the community, we offer pet therapy, and family members are welcome to bring pets for visits.

Waitlist Information

Whether or not there is a waitlist depends on the suitability of a specific cottage for your loved one.

Vaccination Availability

Residents are able to receive COVID and flu vaccinations within the community.

Aging in Place

We are an age-in-place community; however, we are not a skilled nursing facility. There are parameters for when a resident may require a higher level of care than we can provide, such as needing more than a two-person assist or medical needs like a feeding tube or advanced wound care.
