The Village at Glenlock Farms is a full continuing care retirement community (CCRC) that offers a range of living options to cater to the varying needs of seniors. The community provides independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing services.

Independent Living

On the independent living side, residents can enjoy a lifestyle that promotes independence while having access to various amenities and services.

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome in the independent living section of the community, with a weight limit of 40 pounds. A nonrefundable pet deposit of $1,000 is required for residents who wish to bring their pets.

Transportation Services

Residents are provided with transportation services within a 27-mile radius at no additional charge. Trips beyond this radius may incur a charge that will be added to the resident's monthly service fee. This transportation can be used for doctor's appointments and other community outings.

Move-In Assistance

The community works closely with senior move management teams to assist residents with the moving process, ensuring a smooth transition into their new home.

Dining Services

Residents have two dining options: a restaurant-style dining area with full waitstaff and a menu to order from, and a bistro that serves lunch items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and daily specials.

Dining times are as follows:

• Breakfast: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM (main dining room only)
• Lunch: 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM (dining room)
• Dinner: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM (dining room)
• Bistro: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Safety and Security

The community conducts quarterly safety meetings with residents. Each resident is issued a pendant upon move-in for emergencies, and all bathrooms are equipped with pull cords. An overnight security guard is present from midnight to 8 AM for added safety.

Communication with Families

The facility maintains an emergency contact sheet to reach out to residents' families when necessary. However, there are no additional communication tools such as apps or monthly newsletters specifically for families.

Resident Feedback

Residents can voice their complaints or suggestions through various means, including a suggestion box, email, or written letters. Open communication is encouraged to ensure resident satisfaction.

Waitlist Information

There is currently a waitlist for cottages and villas within the community.

Staffing

While the independent living side does not have nursing staff, the community does have Innovative Home Health Services available for those who may need additional care. For higher levels of care, such as assisted living and skilled nursing, professional nursing staff is available.
