Overview of Staff and Training

Our facility is staffed daily with a comprehensive team including LPNs, RNs, aides, housekeeping, dietary staff, laundry personnel, and multiple management members during the week. However, management is not present in the facility on weekends. Our staff undergoes rigorous training to ensure the highest quality of care and support for our residents.

Safety and Well-being Measures

While we do not have a locked unit or specialty memory care unit, we accommodate residents with memory issues and implement measures to manage fall risks, such as using fall mats and lowering beds. Our facility is equipped with mag-locked doors and a key-coded elevator to enhance security and safety. We maintain vigilant oversight of residents, especially those at risk of falls.

Transition and Support Services

We offer social services and a behavioral health group for psychiatric services to aid residents' transition into our community. For residents on hospice, additional support services are available.

Transportation Services

Transportation is provided for appointments, with the option for a staff member to accompany residents if needed. Families are encouraged to participate in appointments and can also utilize our transport services for other activities.

Dining Experience

Our facility features two dining rooms, with the main dining room being the preferred choice for most residents. Alternatives and different textures are offered to accommodate dietary needs, including tube feeding.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Our management team conducts daily room rounds to identify and address any resident concerns, ensuring prompt and appropriate responses to issues raised.

Cost of Living

Costs vary based on room type, with private pay options available alongside acceptance of many insurance plans for short-term stays and Medicaid for long-term care.

Communication with Residents' Families

We conduct care team meetings within 72 hours of admission to discuss care plans and address concerns, with ongoing communication as needed or on a quarterly basis for long-term care residents.

Short-term and Respite Stays

We offer short-term and respite stays, with costs covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or private pay, depending on eligibility and insurance coverage.

Pet-Friendly Community

Our community welcomes pets, with several fish and birds already part of our family. We encourage families to bring pets, provided they are friendly and vaccinated.

Vaccinations

Residents have the option to receive COVID-19 and flu vaccinations within our community, ensuring their health and well-being.

Aging in Place

Our community supports aging in place, with residents staying for varying durations, from a few months to over 8 years, without a current waitlist.
