The Terraces is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) situated on a sprawling 22-acre campus, encompassing two full blocks. As a nonprofit entity under the HumanGood organization, it offers a range of living options including 209 independent living apartments, 49 assisted living apartments, 25 support studios, and a skilled nursing and rehab facility with up to 63 beds. The community is designed with a low-rise architectural style, with the tallest building being three floors and others featuring two floors or ground-level access.

Environment and Amenities

The Terraces prides itself on its extensive gardens, fruit trees, and outdoor spaces conducive to walking and socializing. The community offers 14 different floor plans for independent living, ranging from one-bedroom units to two-bedroom apartments with a den and a detached garage. Amenities include weekly housekeeping, Cox cable, internet, utilities, a fitness team, meal credits, a main dining room for sit-down meals, a bistro for casual dining, activities, and transportation services.

Care Options

Residents have priority access to higher levels of care, with the option to transition as needed or to age in place with the assistance of the community's wellness team. The wellness team can provide minor care services such as showers and minor wound care, and they are the first responders in case of emergencies.

Residents are provided with pendants for emergency assistance, and pull cords are installed in bathrooms. The community has a wellness team for first response and works closely with the local fire department.
