The Terraces at Los Altos is pleased to serve the needs of residents with limited incomes. 2022 Santa Clara County Below Market Rate Annual Income Maximum Requirement:

• $92,250 for a single person
• $105,400 for a couple

Professional Staff and Training

Our staff at the Lodge includes RNs, CNAs, and a dedicated RN for medication management. We maintain ratios for Memory Care at 3-3-2 to ensure personalized attention.

Safety and Well-being Measures

We conduct safety drills and have certified protocols for various scenarios. Memory Care is secured with passcode access, and all doors feature card key entry. Motion sensors and emergency bracelets or necklaces are used to monitor resident movement and safety.

Transition Support Services

With 135 residents, our sales staff ensures a warm welcome and helps new residents utilize all amenities. Our IT staff provides training on Cubigo, connecting residents with activities and services.

Transportation Services

We offer weekly transportation to the grocery store and medical appointments within a 12-mile radius, with a nominal fee for additional miles. Regular outings are also scheduled.

Dining Experience

Residents enjoy a monthly point system for dining, with options to dine at our restaurant or café. Quality ingredients and service are a priority, and we offer delivery for ill residents or to-go meals.

Addressing Complaints and Issues

Our offices are open for work orders and communication. We encourage honest and open communication with our Executive Director and staff.

Cost of Living

Entrance fees start from $420K to $2.1 Million, with monthly fees ranging from $6K to $7.7K. An additional person fee applies, and BMR apartments are available under county guidelines. We offer three types of contracts.

Communication with Residents' Families

We hold meetings with families and our team to discuss any changes in residents' health, ensuring families are kept informed.

Short-term or Respite Stays

We are at 98% capacity and do not typically offer short-term or respite stays.

Pet-Friendly Community

Pets are welcome as long as the resident can care for them and they meet our size guidelines.
